Yeah, my mom and dad are ok. My mom just had surgery on her foot so she can't get down to the shelter. Said it was a bit scary not being able to.I survived another round of tornados so all good till next week.
You know it’s crazy how a few hundred feet can make all the difference in the world.Yeah, my mom and dad are ok. My mom just had surgery on her foot so she can't get down to the shelter. Said it was a bit scary not being able to.

Stay safe bud.You know it’s crazy how a few hundred feet can make all the difference in the world.
I was at work and had a really good spot to just chill and not even worry about it to much, but my wife ,grandkids , son and daughter in law were at the house. Not more than half mile from the house there was trees in the road , power poles down. I haven’t had an opportunity check out my shop for damage yet but I think it missed us by just that much again. The area where I was born was hit pretty hard. Currently doing bong hits to calm my nerves….I think I need some concentrates or whiskey or both.
I sure as hell ain’t giving up now lol.
Sending you every ounce of chill-vibes and strength right now.You know it’s crazy how a few hundred feet can make all the difference in the world.

I’m not going to lie , I normally don’t get exited about the weather or at least not for long but right now I’m not sure if I going get any sleep tonight and the threat passed hours ago.Sending you every ounce of chill-vibes and strength right now.
I couldnt imagine. The worst we get are the occasional Nor'easter and fall hurricanes and even then, most of that goes out to sea where I'm at.
Awesome dayYesterday, my birthday, I had a king crab legs and a tossed salad with garlic bread. Then later my wife jammed her big tits in my face and gave me an awesome blow job. She bought me a drone too. Then I got high on GMO. It was an awesome day.
Today I did laundry. How the mighty have fallen.
Nice! I splashed around in the mud today as well. The mud is super fun to spot animal tracks. Saw some mountain lion tracks today.Yesterday's easy hike after work, a saltmarsh farm.
Hiked from the tidal river, thru the fields and peckerwood to the ridge, for a puff after work.
I was stoned, covered in mud, saw some hawks, so pretty good day.

What do you carry on your hikes?Nice! I splashed around in the mud today as well. The mud is super fun to spot animal tracks. Saw some mountain lion tracks today.
Guesses are on and then the tracks go off into the snow and and under the brush and imaging that wild animal roaming makes the place come alive. View attachment 5248654
I carry a lot of stuff . Water, first aid kit, toilet paper and plastic bags. Food, keys, phone .bear spray, pocket knife, since there are a lot of mountain lions where I live, I carry a 9mm In case it attacks me and brass knuckles in case I have to punch him in the mouth. Some hiking poles .What do you carry on your hikes?
I mostly carry this and my telescope for short things, and some extra clothing items stuffed in jacket pockets.
Add a couple more waters to the black carry cord, tie snacks in the bandanna for a longer stroll.

I have a 9mm too. But I've seen those guys in action up close. One was looking at me while he munched down a cat. Took him about a minute to eat it. I grabbed my 9mm just in case, but I think we'd have to unload on those guys unless you get a really lucky headshot. After seeing one up close like that I realized those things are a lot more dangerous than I realized. My respect level for them went up massively after that,I carry a lot of stuff .
