what could it be

So ive been using jacks 202020 since i switched to dwc i started one plant just to see how it went and she exploded i immediately chucked dirt lol.
So i know jacks is some strong shit so i definitely didn't wanna follow the recommend dosage so i made my own. I mix 24gal of water and i mix only 1tsp of jacks 202020, 80ml of cal-mag from EH and then only 14mls of bio root from GO then for keeping the water clean i throw in a half tsp of mosquito bits. I put my ph to 5.5 and change the res (bucket) once a week and i let the oh just casually raise by it's self which only ever gets to 6.1.
The big plant is 4 weeks and the rest are just starting there 2nd week now everything is looking good up until the other day i started noticing this on the tips my first thought was it was nute burn.. But with as little of the jacks im using it doesn't make sense i also wasn't using cal-mag up until lastweek.
I use city water which comes out at 226ppm after i add all my nutes and ph it obly raises the ppm to 446.
Any advice would be helpful i includedpics. Sorry about the shit quality pics lol

Are you topping off between res changes? If not whats your ppm at low water/before res change? Also, what is you RH? Has it dropped from heating your home(winter)? They look healthy either way though.

So i don't check the ppms after I've changed the res and i havent had to top off the buckets because ive been changing every week water seems to enough. Ppms are about 446 when i change the water and temps are around 76 i would say my humidity is becoming a problem with the cold cant get it above 35. And ty i mean i think they look good but im new to dwc so i just dont wanna nuke em not sure if it is nute burn or maybe a lil cal mag

Low humidity can cause moisture to build on the tip of the leaves, which can look like nute tip burn. You can look into 'vapor pressure deficit' for more on humidity levels and plant function. When your res gets lower it can concentrate your solution (raising ppm),so you should check your ppm as your water lowers.

Gotcha i didn't even know about the vapor thing and i didn't even think about that it would get more concentrated im still confused as to how a plant in hydro can keep getting nutes but if you continually give plants nutes in dirt youll fry em.

Because in hydro the ppm can only build up in you water, since there is no soil to strain and hold salts found in nutes. Aslong as you concentration(ppm) is maintained, your good. Soil will need the salts flooded out or leached a few times, depending on nutrients used or your ppm will start to rise within your soil. Uneven drying and overdrying can cause nutrient burn in soil too and some nutrients will lock out in soil because they need water to be transported. Calcium being one, that can look like overfeeding when you're actually just depriving the plant of Ca from over drying your soil/medium.

How often would you recommend checking the ppm levels and then to adjust then just add my fresh mix of nutes with right ppms and ph or wouldnt it then not be phd because of the old water still in the bucket? Thank you for the responses.

I'd check a couple times between res changes. If ppms are rising and/or ph, top off the res with water, after add nutrients in increments at the same ratio in res(ex.1part grow 1part bloom)until fit, then adjust ph. You could go longer than a week between changes doing this but it's not bad practice to keep res fresh with new solution.

Nah i prefer to change every week its really not that hard and hmm i dunno if i like the idea of adding the nutes in like that. Could i just add fresh water ph it to get me by till i res change. Would probably help with not over nuting them

yea probably, just keep an eye on ppm and ph.

So before i go and increase the nutes. I tried lowering how much jacks i was using to half tsp to 22g for a week now and well im pretty sure its not burning think they arent getting enough potassium so im under nuting i believe. Just hoping to hear back from you first furnz appreciate it.
