You would be wrong. Thats a Calyx and its what buds are primarily made of. when you break up a flower you will notice its nothing but stem, calyx's, and leaf. The higher the calyx to leaf ratio the better. The calyx is where the seeds do form if they are pollinated; the goal is not to pollinate.Found these on a few stems of my auto (week 9-10 approx of flower)
