What are some fire heat resistant strains? Or strains you’ve run that have tolerated heat well?

I have a problem with heat in my tent I’ve tried everything to change my environment and get it cooler I even added a duct directly from my ac unit to my tent and my temps still hit almost 90 with the lights at 80%-100%. When I turn my lights down the buds get larfy so I’m looking for some heat resistant strains. I’m also open to suggestions to changing my setup. I’m putting my setup in the comments.

Where exactly are you sending the air from your inline fan? Same room? A different room? Out the window? Out the roof? Need more info please.

Keep your tent open during light on with a fan 6-8 feet way blowing into it and cool the room it’s in as much as possible.
try strains that originated in desert climates. Durban poison comes to mind.

I'm also trying to research heat and cold tolerant strains. I have a thorsberry and a caramel apple fritters both from captain redbeard in a hot box that still seam happy. The box has gotten up to 113f and as low as 32f and both are showing only minor stress

Try lights on at night? In the winter i can do lights on during the day but the weather has warmed up a little earlier this year so i had to switch to lights on at night. It’s helped a few degrees. In summertime it looks like im gonna have to get an a.c. unit of some kind for the room, even with nighttime lights on.

When I grew in my closet some time ago it was always hot and I was growing white widow and white widow/big bud with no problems. Had two 600w HPS running in a 4 x 4 closet.

Wow, 1200 watts in a 4x4 closet? No wonder you had heat issues. Did the closet have high ceilings?
