I've talked to some people who get it for pain from past injuries in a wide variety and also migraines, such things that are come and go like that.. What else would be accepted?
Anxiety?
-Anxiety caused by other medicines?
Side effects of other treatments? -supplement/complement other drugs.
Can I get a list of any of the accepted Michigan treatable conditions in Michigan?

thanks.

Right now Parkinson's and PTSD have been approved by the panel and have gone to LARA for final approval. We are waiting to see what they say. If approved they will go on the first page of the physician certification under 'other condition'.

Most of the conditions currently approved encompass both named conditions (cancer, crohn's, etc) or symptoms. It is important, for example, if you have diabetes (not a condition) that you also have the peripheral neuropathy or digestive issues which are commonly found in diabetes, as you can be approved for the associated symptoms. If you have something like anxiety, also not an approved condition, requiring the use of medications which have side effects like nausea, that you get that documented in your medical record. I can't approve you for the anxiety, but can for the nausea if it is documented.

Nice to get a laugh at my expense, but it adds little to the question and is getting old. I prefer accurate information in response to questions.

Hey doc I have some close friends suffering from LDS (long day syndrome) and the long term alcohol use as means of self medicating has caused many health and family issues. Any chance you could hook them up with some MJ certs?

If you want Bob listed, you're gonna have to petition the panel. Who knows? It might be cake.

We are close to a decision by Lara to also include PTSD and Parkinson's. Asthma and autism, if I am not mistaken, will be discussed tomorrow in a second hearing in Lansing by the panel. And yes, anyone can testify impromptu.
