tomorrow we see if obama sinks or swims. anyone want to make a guess. i would say 65 house, split senate, and 70% of the govoners go republican.

this, of course, is judging from the people i come in contact with. it will be a blood bath if my district is any indication of the mood of the country.

The GOP is about bitch slap liberals across the country, I can't wait to see our incredibly arrogant President respond. I do however believe the Democrats will hold onto the senate.

I still remember the flawed GOP "contract With America". I remember late night votes with Cspan cameras being blocked that resulted in a trillion dollar social program for medicare prescriptions, compliments of the GOP. I also remember trillions of dollars being given away to the rich and big businesses in the "hope" that it would trickle down and create jobs. I also witenessed the deregulation of the financial sector, that ended up causing the largest financial crisis in America, that we continue to suffer from today.

Make no mistake about it. Republicans REFUSE to learn from the past. They have sat on their fucking hands for the last two years in an attempt to derail ANY new legislation. Thankfully they won't win enough seats to override a presidential veto. We do not need to go down that road again. It's amazing that just 4 years ago, America was fed up with the GOP and the mess they made of things. Two years ago, they sent a strong message to the GOP establishment, with Obama winning a historic percentage of the votes. How soon they forget that our current economic woes are those that started under BUSH. The WORLD is still in recovery mode, but Americans expected immediate recovery, even though Obama warned it would be a long hard road.

With a GOP majority, it is time for the rich to rule once again. Will any lessons be learned? I highly doubt it, as they are prone to repeat themselves everytime in the majority. They cut social spending so they can continue tax cuts for the rich that need them the less. The trickle down theory has been proven wrong twice, both times in Bush's presidency. When the fuck will Republicans open their eyes and realize that? Maybe as soon as special interests quit lining their coffers?

go easy there fitch. this is clearly an american conservative movement, not a GOP. there are nearly as many dems onboard.

what is going on is they are taking over the party. dems and repubs. but more importantly conservatives. people who know right from wrong. people who love there country and realize what great things have come from the US experiment.

as for obama, this may well be his pinnacle moment. what he says on the third or fourth, may be what he is judged for in history. and history is a motherfucker.

great political theatre

Obama is a puppet? he is far from a puppet bro... do you have any kind of education? because i don't argue with laymen- they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience. i find it ironic you calling someone a puppet, when "puppet" was a label for Obama initiated by the right in a desperate and blind shot attempt to cripple his overwhelming potential. in fact i'm willing to bet you have no clue as to why you are calling him a puppet(go look it up now and pretend you knew all along.) you are merely regurgitating slogans implanted into your rederrick by the right; that being said, ask yourself- whose the puppet? the most dangerous thing to be in washington is an honest man. i wonder why they hate him so much? hmmmm.....

while you justify your loser existence with notions of "it's all so fucked up" , the real world goes on. everything you call a conspiracy is far from it. in fact it's history. exactly how it was supposed to be. the federal trust is a pillar of a mechanism in the reality we enjoy. if it was your money- wouldn't you want a little say so? it's a fishtank- thats what government is. do you know what happens without a stable control? have you ever been to africa and witnessed the suffering of tribal war? senseless massacre? while you bitch about the government , there are people who educate themselves, get degrees and get jobs where they can actually BE the change you just sit and whine about. also, while you tear down the system from every angle; do you have a better idea? your a hypocrite, do you drive on paved roads? use electricity from a power outlet hooked to the main grid? do you shit on a toilet that flushes? do you shower under running water? these are all advantages of a well governed society . sure there are big problems, that is why instead of bitching , get involved and be a team player if you feel so strongly regarding your political sentiments.

The BIG day?? Is it true that less than half of you Americans can be bothered to vote ??

Well your last election drew 65%, can't say thats epic. In 2004, your main motivation to vote was to play pussy and buckle under to terrorists to withdraw from a war you promised to assist in. NATO needs brave ones, not socialist yellow Spaniards.

What else did Obama promise? That unemployment would not go above 8% if the stimulus passed? Here we sit near 10% and have been here for quite some time. You are so quick to just blame the republicans for all of our current problems, which is typical of the kool-aid guzzling liberal establishment. Let's not forget that it was Barney Frank who pushed for de-regulation of fannie mae/freddie mac. Both parties have let this country down in a big way! Stop towing the party line and open your eyes. We have to stop the partisan bickering and come together if we are to ever send a message to our politicians.:cuss:

Also to nix the Patriot act and keep unemployment under 8% and there would be harmony throughout the land. Europe would also love us again. Hand me the pipe.......

i would have preferred never going over there in the first place.

now you criticize the left for not cleaning up the mess the right started quickly enough?

you should have just voted democrat in the first place. a stitch in time saves nine.

also, please learn to conjugate your verbs correctly.

I criticize the right and the left- I agree we shouldn't have been their in the first place. we should be protecting our country first and I belive our #1 military priority should be protecting our borders. since they have managed to do away with posse comitus their should be no conflict of intrest
