Well, RIP soldier

Here lies, dead on a vine, my 12 week into flower, 6 month old frankenfuck. This plant had so many setbacks and weird issues that I was really hoping to bring her to harvest...but a visit from my neighbor about the intense weed smell they’ve been getting for weeks has forced me kill her. I just can’t run the risk of the smell continuing for however many weeks she had left.
First time I’ve had to kill a plant, it’s a bummer, but potential incarceration is worse. Happy growing everyone, unless my state laws change I’m out for the count.

Lol, I’ve got a 6” Vivosun filter, it either shit the bed throughout this grow, or wasn’t a very good filter to begin with

I had my kosher Tangie just hang drying in a bathroom (next room over from grow room) without any kind of filtration. Good chance this was the cause or a big contributor. I live in a townhouse in the middle of suburbia, should’ve had a better lock down on my environments. The fact my sense of smell is less than perfect didn’t help me here either.

I mean that’s fine, I let my paranoia get to me, but with my situation I felt it was the best thing to do. For him to come tell me it’s been stinking strong for weeks, I believe him, he’s not some crabby crotchety type. I managed to harvest my healthy plant and was just playing with this, I feel like this one would’ve been cut done long ago in most other gardens.
Ultimately it sucks, but did what I felt was right and won’t be bugged out and paranoid as a result

What about the drying / curing smell - smoking odors ?
Me thinks plant was “ killed “ for other reasons

That's dumb af. Seriously. Weed stinks and it's odor carries.
I use a 3x3x3 tent with a 4" fan and filter for my cure. It pulls the air through the tent and out the filter. Smells can't escape. Can't smell anything until I unzip the door.

Seriously.. idk why this isn’t the first thing the op did. Get a 6” fan & filter & just put it in the room with the weed. Maybe get one for a separate tent to dry in. The investment is worth it.

I wouldn’t have even started growing in this setting (if I didn’t have all this planned out to have odors taken care of. Extra plug-ins, an air purifier in the room the tent is in) lol
No way I would have ever planted a seed. Now the op has to weigh the possibilities of the neighbor calling the police station to make a complaint. How cool are they? I would trust them only as far as I could throw them. The jig is up
