**UPDATE**
Well as of 10/31/07 I am still yet to here from any sense of authority. I really believe that they would have got back to me by now on my punishment. Tomorrow will be exactly 1 week and thats supposedly the time there supposed to tell me. If I don't hear anything from them this week should I assume that they aren't going to do anything?
It would be weird if they just dismissed what happened and I didn't get punished. Would be a good day!

It wouldn't be weird to me. It would seem like it's just another case of an RA being a dick on a power trip. I honestly think that the people running colleges have more important things to think about and spend money on besides some guy smoking weed in his dorm room.

I doubt they will invoive police.. even if they did. it's less than an ounce, that's just a fine usually. I mean they will be watching you much closer. I'm not sure punishments though, you should probably look into off campus housing.
When you go in front of the Dean just plead like crazy, they'll take into account that its first time what not. Just say someone gave it to you, you don't usually do stuff like this bla bla bla. tears will help. errrr maybe that only works for girls.

So true! I took the time to know my rights and such but when I got busted and saw a badge I just bent over and took it!
The women was about half a foot shorter than me and maybe a third of my weight but my heartbeat was going nuts.

it is their responsibility to tell the owners of the building what you were doing, and go from whatever they say. It is their property, and if you are found to be growing illegally, it is their property that could be siezed. Do you still have a copy of your lease? This is all spelled out in what you signed. You read it right?
