i have seen people kicked out for not very much. hopefully this is not the case and he is at a mellower school. my one friend got caught smoking in his dorm room at VT and got kicked out. maybe he didnt give me all the details, so he could of had a pound or smoking rock like rick james. good luck dude.

I was busted for underage drinking in my appt at my college last year. They didn't find my stash but the smoke detector was covered and the campus police noticed it. When I visited my RD he said that I told the police that we had been smoking marijuana (I was too wasted to remember), so I confessed. But since they didn't find anything they didn't kick me out. But he said if they had found something I would have been kicked out of the college apartments but not the school. I'm in campus appts again this semester and I've smoked in my room a couple times, but I usually just go chill in my car and smoke or go for a walk.

Why do u guys live in dorms? Dorms are gay, you can't grow weed in a dorm. I'm going to a CC now so I live at home and I get to grow. Whenever I transfer to a University I'll rent a cheap house 20-30 minutes away so I can grow the dankest weed that college has ever seen. I'll run that bitch

Heres some facts -
1. Got caught with a little more than a Quarter oz.
2. The room did not smell when they came in so they cant say I was smoking in the room.
3. They did not find my piece,papers, or anything used to smoke so I am hoping ill only get charged with possession.
4. I have to wait a week to find out what the verdict is on my situation.
5. It is my first year at the college, first offense so I am hoping that they will not charge with too much.
Heres a link to the schools drug policy. Its the best that I could find so I hope its the one.

The worst issue here is in the US all schools including college and Universities are considered part of the Drug free Gun free zone law which in reality is suposed to end in an automatic forfieture of all property and minimal 5 year sentence,so with that said hopefully they do this in house or your could be going to jail but they might have screwed the pooch since te RA took the stuff without a Policeman present so evidence tampering is now your defence.If you were under 18 would just be some little juvi night shit but at this part of school unless your a teenage genius your an adult.I would think that stae is a little more liberal with its weed dealings though so you might get lucky and forfiet all dorm stays from here on out and maybe just get suspended a semester and be on academic probation for a year.Good luck dont smoke at school if you live there

Zero tolerance laws are shitty. They promote an impersonal fascist attitude in the name of upholding any law. They don't care what a person's story is, how minor a crime they committed or even if it's their first offense. Zero tolerance, now you're fucked. I hate that shit.
