Not necessarily, he doesn't have giant colas which are the most susceptible to mold and has great air flow. People who grow in tropical areas have success with RH in the 80's. It's strain dependent as well... High RH isn't a clear indicator for mold, although it does obviously increase the chances of it.

except in the rare occasion where your ambient rh is higher than say 60%? Much higher than this and your carbon becomes less effective.
I'm not trolling with this question...You need to Think about it.
With proper air flow and circulation, a dehumidifier shouldn't be necessary in an unsealed room 90% of the time in most areas.

I actually agree with you.
My dehumidifier only comes out when I notice my night cycle RH getting a little too high for my liking.
I use a temp gauges fan speed controller to control temps during lights on/off.
So my fan slows way down during dark hours when my dehumidifier kicks in.
My issue with bud rot and RH is due to donkey dick buds though.
Ever since my rot experience on these plants above I've always aired on the side of caution.
