Week 3 Dwc. When to start nutrients? Plants yellowing with spots.

Day 27.

3x3 tent
t5 veg lights 12 inches above tops of plants
Rez temp - 68/72
tent temps - 72/81
Ro water , ph at 5.3 floats to 6 and I adjust , sensi cal max commended ratio for seedlings.

Small Yellow spots started yesterday. This is my second Dwc attempt and trying to KISS this time.
I have advanced nutrients - micro , grow and bloom but have not started any yet. Was wondering if and what these are signs of plants asking for nutrients

Seeding On the left is Alaskan purple auto / right is gorilla Skittlez auto. So far Gs is growing much better and started at same time in same conditions.

There is no point in hydro when you should not be feeding. You should be feeding at .55 ec or so.

I keep getting different opinions on this. So since I have not been, I should be fine to start my AN?

Yes start feeding. And think about your water level, at this point now I wouldn’t want The Whole net pot to be in the water, you want a couple inches of air space between the water.

Start nutes immediately. Fading colors in leaves typically means the plants need more nutrients. If this is your first feed start with 1/2 to 1/4 recommended doses

Yes start feeding. There are no nutes in ro water. You should always have some nutes in the water even when you have seedlings. You should have 200 or 300 ppm with small seedlings in ro water. If you were using tap water you could wait a lil bit.

id start from the get go but use less than the recommended amount especially in veg

Rez change today. Ppm / ec meter hasn’t came in the mail yet stupid delays.

Sounds like things should clear up soon but the ppm reader should help for nute levels. Does your cal nute have magnesium? Bronze spots like that can sometimes be fixed with a cal/mag addition.

Do things get worse looking before they eventually even out again? Spots have worsened and yes the Sensi does.

I am no pro, barely an amateur. From my limited experience it will take a small amount of time for your plants to respond to the nutes, i also use the AV line. The spots won't clear up, but shouldn't spread or appear on new growth.

So Av customer support says my Rez can float from 4.7 to 7.7 and still be giving my plants the correct Nutes needed. Since it’s supposed to be Ph Perfect they recommended no ph up or down if within those levels. That just doesn’t sound right?

sounds right to me, I bought a cheap pen, but never used it, or adjusted the ph level. I'm on the final weeks/week. I also started with 1/4 nutes, haven't gone past 2/3 strength.

Sorry for the blurple pictures.

Finally got my ppm meter in. Rez is reading 395 and plants started to show some more yellowish spots after Rez change. Is my PPM to high?

1mL per gallon x 15 gallons of water of advanced nutrients- micro , grow , bloom.
Hydroguard @ 2Ml x 15 gallons
Sensi cal Mag extra 1mL x 15 gallons
