Standards Grumpy, It needed to be said. 
His thread is asking what else he needs to do to build weight, first and foremost is get rid of the sub standard lighting. Again, not saying it doesn't work, but you get what you give and he's looking for more weight. It's not going to happen with LED's,feedsticks and makeshift, DIY gadgetry.
If it were just a thread about using christmas lights I'd agree but the main topic is what needs to be done to increase weight and the #1 answer is to stop using what "works" and use what works best and I think most would agree that in this case, he should start with his lighting.

I no longer have the heat lamp but it was for a snake and it did work great, this time I'll spend sum $ and go UVB or hps, since so far my whole op. Cost almost nothing

Tha stuff I got from it waz primo I mean yeah a little leafy but jus dank and sweet smelling, I didn't no that waz uvb lol when I put that heat lamp in its when I really noticed tha lil hairs and crystals jus a great experience first time around wish I wud hav used it for a mother plant tho

Hell yea, growing any plants from beginning to end will definitely get you addicted but trust us, an HPS light builds an entirely different bud. Weight, size. I wasted a lot of time building inferior bud. Don't get me wrong, it was bud, and bud that made me damn proud and PSCYCHED for my next run, but it was just money and more importantly time wasted that I could have pointed towards doing it right so in the end, it was MORE expensive AND cost me lots of time.

Yea I wanna grow every way possible so I can compair results sodium bulbs def. On the list especially when I can attain a larger grow space... but I dream of 7 ft. Sativas, budz like ballbats lol let me stop I am drolling

dude lol offtopic.. don't hate.. you know more then i do about this shit..what soil would i use to plant a clone in a 5 gallon bucket...i got this clone from the club.. and what color of your christmas light's make it grow fast.. and you should try putting foil on your cardboard.. even more of a reflection...please don't be mad at my question's.. i just got me a clone yesterday from the club and i wanna learn how to grow lol.

i'm also putting it into my closet.. how much water do i need to give it each day? do i use a fan with the christmas lights?

do not put foil anywhere... foil is a NO-No.
Plese don't give bad information out after stating you do not know much about growing. Foil tends to create hotspots, which in result creates burns. For reflection use flat white paint, mylar, or pand film.

no offense but hps are still proven to be best. i have yet to see a warehouse with a bunch of leds lights all over the place. im only telling people the facts from what i've seen so they can have better results. i have friends that have tested out the new and supposedly improved LEDs. the HPS was still better. if LEDs ever become better than the HPS, i will switch over. LEDs are still fairly new for growing, in time they may become better. probably not anytime soon, but as soon as someone proves to me LEDs are better, i'm replacing all my HID lighting. to be honest i do think it may very well happen in time. otherwise for now, im only trying to help. happy growing!

I didn't say all hps people should give them up for led's nor imply it. I also didn't say that led's were better than hps or even cfl's. I ate my humble pie already, and even publicly apologized. I'm not even gonna waste anymore time saying anything on the topic as I already said my say on it.
