No, I believe the best way to go is to get familiar with the weight of a properly watered planter. You'll be unhappy if you wash out too many nutes.

I dont. But only because I don't want to have to deal with having to dispose of runoff.

Just depends on what type of organic ferts you are using. If meals and whole amendments, no. However I use 3:1:3 organic slow release prills (2tbsp per 5g pot as top dress, feeds 9-12 weeks) and have better luck when I runoff about a cup to wash old shit out.

It's all depends on your medium really. It all depends whether you are using whole amendments or slow release, processed organic nutrients. At day 30ish of flower and mid 50s since germ.
