Yo I am 3 weeks into flowering and have a few basic questions. I am having some root issues because of temperature mostly (I think), but my air pumps are less than 1 watt per gallon as well. My babies are looking pretty great though. I am getting a 20 watt air pump for my pair of 5 gallon buckets, which usually only have 3-4 gallons of water in them. So I am about to be overkilling the oxygen. My question is: will the huge amount of extra oxygen pretty much make up for the root temps of about 77-81? Which is MORE important: root temp or oxygen? Or, if you don't like that question, which would you buy first, an upgrade to the air pump or a water chiller? I am trying to tough it out without a chiller for the remaining 5 weeks, and I am very excited about getting my new air pump. Will the pump alone make my roots a lot happier?
