My 1/4 is rated for 250-650gph IIRC.
Is your compressor kicking on when in cooling mode? If not there is really not much you can do other than taking it to an a/c place.
You really need to hook it up to a high/low gauge set to figure out what is going on. BUT...those connections will have to be brazed in by the shop.
If they come back to you saying its gonna be a couple hundred to fix, time for a new chiller.

Noticed some ice around some of the copper coils. So I'm turning the unit off for a bit and let it melt. And adding a smaller pump this afternoon

i'd pick up a bottle of CLR from walmart and run that thru your chiller for a few hours. calcium/lime/rust = CLR

clean it out during lights off. your water wont heat up that much in a few hours to hurt anything.

Ice build up is one of two things not enough air movement ...dirty coils, fan failure...the other cause is low freon

probably not a bad idea to blow it out with compressed air near the fan intake. i try to remmeber to clean out the small vent area on the back of our refrigerator a few times a year. as a matter of fact, sounds like a good think to do today

I contacted hydrofarm and Amazon. Hopefully I can get it resolved. Bad thing is I have plants in the system and water is 80 degrees. I also ordered a ac infinity fan to place in front of the chiller for increase air flow.

Everything is kicking on and clean i just don't know why its not working..the copper piece was sweating causing the water on the floor.

Sadly it is unusual but you may have lost freon

i'd start calling hvac and or refrigeration companies nearby and see if they can:
1. check and fix freon leak
2. refill with freon

especially if amazon/hydrofarm is gonna make you send it back for repairs.

Just checked the warranty and its 1 year.. which was 5 days ago. So I'm thinking I'm shit out of luck
