now where are those Russian..........

lets follow the weed smell......
Actually, drones dropping "packages" over the Russian positions might do a lot, each one containing a liter of strong vodka and an ounce of very good bud laced with a small amount of heroin for that extra comfortable feeling and sound sleep. They would be like landmines among them that they actively sought out and if they didn't use themselves, they would sell it to others who would! Ya want them to actively and voluntarily incapacitate themselves, so make the ride nice and have a good reputation among the troops.

Musk wants the raw materials from Russia. Saving the world along the way strokes his ego.

I'm not sure if Elon in his hubris apprehends the danger of picking and actively supporting the losing side in an existential war, especially if that support costs lives. We have seen an example of extranational execution in Canada recently, I don't advocate it, but Elon appears to be setting the conditions for himself. Civilian lives were lost over his starlink cut off and his support of cutting Ukrainian aid isn't making him any friends either. I don't mean just Ukrainians either many see Elon as a major pain in the ass and an increasing threat to national security and liberal democracy, fortunately for Elon most of those people believe in law and order.

No need for folding wings with this switchblade type suicide drone and launcher, simplifies production and reduces costs. If they could get a signal to and from it, they could FPV it to an artillery piece, or if the target was fixed, use GPS much further. The higher up the operator's antenna, the further it can go and the lower to the ground it can operate in FPV mode. There are 60 drone companies operating in Ukraine now making all kinds of drones and this could be one of those types. A small cheap commercial hobby rocket motor could launch it and a short delay parachute charge could blast the booster free after launch. It could also be launched from a small catapult too, but in any case, it should not be hard to setup and launch in the field.

In garages, bedrooms and workshops across Ukraine a small army of amateur enthusiasts has emerged to build and adapt drones capable of taking the fight to the Russians. We explain how the war created this cottage industry, and what motivates the people behind it.
