It might end up being quite an adventure getting home, if Ukraine breaks through or brings the road under fire control. It's just what the Russians need, the roads behind their lines jammed with refugee traffic consuming gas and their men melting away into the mob of tourists heading for Russia.
The road bridge is down and there is the ferry and overland route through a war zone, next up the rail bridge at Kerch while trying to get to the sea of Azov to cut the Russians off in the southwest. If the Ukrainians could drive a bridgehead across the Dnieper at Kherson it could trap those Russians in the south of the country, including the ones at the nuclear power plant.
