Hey whats up fellow growmies, I've been growing for about 6 years indoor with fox farm ocean forrest and then adding sweet leaf and connisuer organic feeds from advanced nutrients this whole time with great results. I'm wanting to venture into the living organics side of things my next upcoming grow which is about a flower cycle away. Is there say a bag of supersoil I can buy for each 5gal pot or do I want to do bigger beds with these types of organics? Also is it easier to just ammendment my current soil and transform it into living super soil? Thanks for any help, it's greatly appreciated. I would like to get to where I just feed with water, and replenish my soil needs as needed, off the bottle so to say!

There is a lot to it, so take your time and read as much as you can before you get started. Here is the a great no-till thread featuring Coots himself-it's 1,000+ pages so just read through it when you can, and keep track of where you're at. It has some incredible information. https://forum.grasscity.com/threads/no-till-gardening-revisited.1400505/

Here is an older thread with simpler recipes-this is how we did organics before rock dust and all the other popular no-till amendments. These were popular with nursery growers since the 70s-https://www.icmag.com/forum/marijuana-growing/organic-soil/48694-organics-for-beginners?t=53792

Then of course, search this site as well. If you go back and read some of Uncle Ben's threads, he was always on point with his info. That's enough to get you started, good luck!

These are great links / I’ve benefited from both of these forums.
mid also read through the first 200 or so pages of the ROLS thread stickied in this forum - really great stuff in there that I still reference.

Other tips I can offer - start a worm bin ASAP, this will be a huge resource for building your soil, making aerated teas, top dressing when needed etc. It also is a great way to inoculate some killer microbiology and soil decomposers to your pots.

Look into trying your hand at building your own soil -despite what you might read here, it’s does not need to be complicated and most people (including myself) overthink the ‘recipe’ waaay to much when they start out.You can’t go wrong with a simple Coots mix to start, give it time to cook (about a month) and you’ll have a great starter soil to work with. Don’t mess around with ‘super soil’ recipes starting out - you’ll risk overdoing it and having a rough first run.

I think it's way easier to just top dress. If you want something from BAS, I have a link for $5 off your first order.

About to go top dress in a few minutes and give plain well water. Just being lazy, lol. Oly Mountain, alfalfa, and neem in the clear containers. Just Craft Blend in the little thing.

Just dropping an update on the 4x4 tent grow. All organics.
Using pre fert soil with amendments which is a combination of bio bizz feed, living soil amendments, occasional teas added with some eco thrive biosys for added microbials and also bat guano.

started off with six plants which had extensive training for multiple tops, did have a scrogg net installed but just recently removed as plants didnt strenghth as much as i thought they would and net was only in my way so was removed, they had a good 8 wks veg from seed, plants look happy and healthy and just starting their 3 rd week of flower hopefully no issues to come and i’ll be happy with an 2oz off plant. Hopefully more but these girls ( OG KUSH ) not renowed as huge yielders. Saying all that i’m in for some nice home grown organic smoke
