Can't wait.

So I got my light into place

IMG_20120214_180746.jpg

Going to have to increase the hole size in the top to get the hps plug through it. The bulb plugs in on the left and runs to the right. I'd think that the light spread would be better if the bulb ran front to back. Problem is that I'd have to go without a reflector if I were to do that which may completely negate it.

Got to get the light trap for the intake and put the fan in and see how temps go. Still need the fan speed controllers in order to run it. Pretty sure it's way too loud for my bedroom.

Good job sir! You should still get good coverage.

That thing looks like a minifridge! Be cool if it looked like one on the outside too. :)
Is the inside ceiling white as well? If so, it may be ok to run w/o the hood. But I guess you know your system better than I.

Yeah the roof is white. I'd have to get a plug that is without a reflector or tube and figure out a way to mount it. I Think I'll just go with it for now and see how temps run when I get the fan in place.

No mini fridges here but I got a full size deep freeze that's half rusted if I really wanted to. Prefer my wooden crates.

I found some great crates while dumpster diving one day. A lil hobby I have..:)
You wouldn't believe sum of the shit people toss out.

My little cab is from one of those trips-@ the mall when they do remodels/new stores is the best! Ligh sockets, conduit, boards all kind of stuff.

Lucky you. None of that kind of happenings going on out here. I'm excited that I should be ready to test by Friday

hey void! How ya been dude?

Things are looking "together" ;)

Im glad some one is up. I was getting bored. Got to remember to take my meds earlier. The pain really settles in when I lay down, need to take it an hour before bed.

Anyways. You see the funny shaped hole on the top right? That will be cut out to a 6in hole. I'll use a little ducting and seal it into place. The next part is up to debate as niether solution is ideal. Either the inline fan goes on the outside then 90 degree elbow into the filter. Or the elbow then the fan and filter. I know niether is ideal to fluid dynamics but not sure which is best and if there's enough difference to make up for room.

Left the elbow at the shop or I'd mock it up now.

LOL yea I seen it looks like you went to work with a hole saw lol

I cant wait to see how you rig this up!

I have bad news, My birds must be a bird from that app AngryBirds, Cause it boomeranged back here for lack of...ugh postage...HAHA I used a priority address label, and enough postage for regular. Get it sorted soon man.

Yeah that's a ring of like 5 holes using a hole saw. The outer circle is 4 in. Might have to cut out a large section and cover it over with a board that has a proper 6in hole in the right place. This air filter seems nearly as long as my arm and like 8 in diameter. Freaking huge

16in long not including the part that fits onto the fan and is 8in diameter. I think I'll have to go fan elbow filter so it doesn't stick outfrom the side of the cab

Cant you run some flexible duct? Then ya can swing it any way you need. LOL Had to run off for a minute and finish my canna btter, You still up?

Yeah I'm still up. Flexible or elbows, either way. I've got at least two elbows at the shop from previous project.

New thought. Fan then flexible hose to the filter and just leave it sitting on end on the foor rather than trying to mount that massive heavy thing. Good call, thanks for that.

Sorry to hear about the bird. I took a tiny bit of the cindy to a friend who said she absolutely loved it. Can't wait to have her compare it to the c99 x haze

ima have to send ya a pm LOL

but yea i love the flexi tubing, Spend the extra dime if you wanna keep noise down and get insulated. I would run a little bit off the end of the other side on that filter , Some reason having it open like that makes alotta noise. Abrupt collision with standing air maybe.. The hollowing noise coming outta the venting is alot quieter (is that a word :?: )
You will see soon 'nuff.
Did I tell ya I scored a Blueberry clone (we'll see, still skeptical)!!!

Got it in a solo cup now, It was pretty bad when I got it so hoping it gots life left and hoping more that if its good - I need to get more.

Na didn't hear that about the BB. Hope it holds out for you and pretties herself up for you.

I'm not sure what you mean. The filter has one side to connect to 6 in duct and the rest is sealed up with carbon. I'm not sure how much ducting is needed to quieten the noise. Will have a short duct on the intake of the fan.

Dude Ignore me LMFAO I dunno what I was talking about, Its a filter haha its gonna muffle it, For some reason I was just thinking of my reflector. hahah hit me with dat dunce, Ill play along haha...

ahh yea me 2 the bb is stting out under a 23 w cfl Waiting to see some lime green in the core of it and Ima bring it out back

Yeah, that's the plus side on pushing through the filter even though it's not the recommended way of doing it. Yeah the cooltube reflector from gotham was too big for my cab. Hoping the heat will be low enough not to need to get one. Already have a grand tied up in this.

That's quite the canopy you got going on there in such a small area :) Lot of plants for a small space. Looking forward to seeing some buds :)
