Question.... If a plant Hermies and pollinates itself does thc production stop at that point and only degrade from there? Or does it stay the same or increase? I know when seeds start forming the plants energy is pulled to that dept and resin and oil production and flower growth all basically come to halt. I just wondered if it was best to let the seeds mature (selfed seeds would be basically feminized but prone to hermie, correct?) or just tear it out so nothing else gets hit with the love dust or let it ride. I have had personal experience with this. Had a friend throw some seed of the Kandy Kush.....out of three that popped, 1 turned out great, and I got a half dozen or so clips off of her prior to flowering her out to be one of the DANKEST DAAAAANKEST ladies to ever hit my lungs. Well, I grew those clones up to use as mommas for a crop. I got a few dozen clones grown up and when I flowered them out indoors, I got seeds.......ALOT of seeds.......So many seeds that I pretty much took the crop and de-seeded the whole thing leaving me with a massive mound of pretty much shake......so I rolled a bunch of joints with it and jarred them all up and I'll tell ya, It was super seeded, but nonetheless tasted, literally, like cotton candy when sucking on an unlit joint.....but spark it and it's all KUSH flavor with real cool mellow buzz......
I would just do everything to prevent it from seeding, but if it happens........it happens. Good luck with it!

Well yea that would be where im at pretty much to a t. My boy had the cutting for a long time and the last round he ran (which pollinated) he threw me seeds from that, which grew up to be some very tasty ladies indeed. The room in flower in this journal are clones of that last one. And there has been minimal weirdness but I have been tweezin well into the night here and there. Hopefully everything turns out. It's getting frosty! New pics as soon as I upload them.

But I was wondering since all the seeds he gave me turned out female then would all the recurring selfed seeds be fem and where thc production stops once the plant focuses on making seeds.
