BotherJericho, your the man! Thanks for this :) Did they take out the "Like This" feature? I would "Like This" on your post. This is the best link for anyone looking for the right Grow LED. Thumbs Up dude. Thanks.

Personally I would say try to take advantage of any company offering a 90 money back satisfaction guarantee. Get a light, and use it on an auto. This should give you enough time to complete a grow and make your mind up from there. Although you should really know long before you're done if you're satisfied. If you're not though, then assuming you haven't damaged it, then you can send it back and get your money back and you'll have only lost time, rather than money.
I have a few Blackstar 500's and I'm pretty happy with them, although I've not tried any other LED lights, because generally that means ordering from the USA and being in the UK, it's not desirable. I got my 500's here in the UK, and as Vipar are also UK based I might have a bash on them as a tester.
The penetrator series at hydrogrowled have 90 day money back, they're obviously not cheap, but then you factor that in when you decide if you're satisfied with them, and I've seen some good diaries from users.
I'd really love to see someone test out an ApacheTech light, but nobody seems to have taken the plunge on them, which is not surprising. They do not have the best looking site, and they don't seem to offer the 90 day trial.

In terms of that LED review site, it's nice to see a comparison, however the reviews seem to be compiled from information gathering rather than actual testing. A lot of that info will be manufacturers claims which can be unfounded, exaggerated or both. If the reviews themselves were based on direct comparisons under real tests rather than presumed performances from tech specs then it would be a lot more useful. Again, one of the biggest reasons that I won't go for an Apache for example, is that there seems to be no unbiased review or test out there. A look on youtube and you find all the vids that are available are done by Apache themselves. It's a similar thing with Kessil lighting, no independant has actually shown a grow, it's either Kessil themselves, or resellers/growshops that promote the light, and so have a vested interest. There are a few people with diaries on Kessils, but they're generally new, so no results yet.

Anyway to recap, I think if you're sceptical (as anyone buying LED should be) then compare the manufacturers/distibutors offering that 90 day trial. I'd probably leave all others aside for now unless you've seen their results first hand. The trial period mean the seller is confident in their wares, which means you'll be more comfortable with your purchase.

LOL. Yeah, I hadn't changed the converter. I was about to have a heart drop when I a response from Vipar saying the A200 draws 199 Watts! Very nice. Pro Grow 180 is the best go for the budget and the Vipar 200 is the best for the quality! Both with 3 year warranties too! Very nice! Have you decided yet boy?

http://area51lighting.com//index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=26................Try these guys. Incidentally I was the guy who did the hydroponicshut warranty thread, pro grows are good lights, regardless of the absence of cree chips. They work well and many threads prove that, my experience was based on being in a different country and the UK branch still not operational till later on and the cree scandal at the same time, I am about to be provided with a brand new 14 band model as they could not fix mine, I had further issues with it and had to send to China to the manufacturer.

I will make it clear that it has been Anand at hydroponicshut UK that has arranged and made this happen, Benjamin has wiped his hands of me it seems.

My experience was my own and it may not happen to you being in the US, needless to say I will never give them any further business and just spent $4000 with area51. I have not used them yet as I'm waiting on them but a lifetime warranty and a different approach to spectrum is what I like, and Jeff was very helpful even for me the most difficult customer!

Wait cause of the alien materials hehe i see

But can you be more specific on the alien species that had these grow set-ups?

Thats anyone's guess, some speculate that the greys are from Zeta riticuli, some speculate that they are a bio-engineered species by the illuminati. All I know is they are obssessed with anal probing...go figure..
