Use of the word "honky"?!

If you are cool with it, i dont think it is.... but how about somweone on the streets you didnt know....

yeah its something different when called it on the street... racism is a tough battle for alot of people.

I can't say I've ever been offended by being called a "honkey". I just laugh at it and go on but it also takes a lot to piss me off. In college my black friends would always call me "cracker" but they knew it didn't bother me just as it didn't bother them if I responded back by saying "nigga" but eventually I just quit using that word in response because I felt like I was disrespecting them even though it never bothered them, just like "cracker" never bothered me. I think it all comes down to the individual. Now if we didn't know each other and were calling each other that, then that would be a whole different story. Regardless people just need to quit letting words bother them so much and laugh if off more instead of getting pissed off.
