where did they work?

and why do you continue to spread the falsehood that they lost their jobs 'due to new laws that had been passed' when you have no idea what those laws are?

this whole democratic republic we have going on only works with an informed electorate. as such, it irks me a bit when i run across those who spread disinformation.

it irks me doubly when that person doesn't even understand or have any ability to comprehend that they are spreading disinformation.
dude i really could care less about arguing any more with you, so im just gunna say it once more....

most of my aunts and uncles are teachers i have no idea what kind where exactly they work w/e....

one day i seen my relative nd they were like blah blah fired b/c of new administrations laws/policies etc etc should of never voted for etc etc.....
it was prob congressional budget cuts new administartion tryin to save money wherever they can... but they promised the unions shit to get votes nd then screwed em....

you seem exceptionally well-informed.

hundreds of thousands of teachers around the nation were able to keep their jobs thanks to aid given to the states through the american recovery and reinvestment act, passed by the democrats and signed into law by president obama.

if you want examples of unions getting a raw deal, you need look no further than the actions of tea party backed governors and legislators swept into office during the 2010 elections.

you make those undecided voters in the clip above look rather informed by comparison.

UncleBuck you know this guy is lieing...typical...say shit and then can't even tell you why it is...One of these idiots who goes against their very own interest...

To go back to the begin of thread, i'm pretty sure there will be many uprisings and massive protests etc if not a revolution but with time. the country is going speedily downhill as we speak and it will crumble if current circumstances persist, and (unfortunatley) it takes most people to hit rock bottom to notice how destructive the current system is, to the people.Thats why more and more americans (Europeans triple fold) are starting to wake up to reality. But it takes time, look at other examples they can take decades to build up. And i've noticed most people who have realized the financial injustice of govts by unfairly losing their job or something have then automatically realized the overall corruption and criminality of govts especially that of foreign policy. I dont know it that makes much sense but it sounded good in my stoned head : ) peace

Why do you think that Europeans are more aware than Americans?

PS. I don't question it, I am just curious because it seems that way from a European point of view but that does not take into consideration the fact that we do not live in America so cannot judge overall awareness there. Curiously everywhere I go here people are talking about these global issues with passion and an open mind that previous generations never even considered.

well its not a well based statement whatsoever i know, but it just seems , the majority of europeans in most countries are very aware, backed by a tremendous amount of huge protests and strikes, and ultimately the media in europe is more liberal than in usa, not that its in anyway fair, but yeah youre right i live in europe i don't know the situation as well as aware americans.

yeah man your spot on and it's a beautiful thing, i think its mainly the internet and a rise in sectarianism, with such an access to information and communication, comes great knowledge and the spread of ideas, with which an open rational mind would tend to form i believe(among other factors of course), my two cents. oh yeah can't leave out the herb and its other psychedelic friends :)
