Real hard to beat Hawaii.

Right now right before sun comes up it's 65 in the middle of winter. It will probably reach 81-82 today. You can grow at whatever altitude u like, from sea level to 13000 ft all less than an hour drive from anywhere on the island. Some people here have been known to even grow in old lava tubes with a generator for lights haha

I would think the humidity and 12/12 puts Hawaii down at the bottom for big trees ?

If you compare NorCal and eastern KY, they have similar latitudes and even elevations. I agree with TWS in what sets California apart is the experience in growing cannabis and I think more importantly, all the strain work that started there in the 60s and 70s and continues today. I have grown weed for 30 years in Kentucky, but to be honest, I really didn't have a fucking clue until the last 5 years or so lurking and reading online sources of grow info and 99% of what I try to emulate comes from California growers. Cheers guys!

The whole day length as a product of latitude because of the Earth's tilt is pretty fucking cool if you think about.

This exactly! People in states who have had med/more relaxed laws are light years ahead in terms of genetics..

Maybe for short season, but all my girls are between 5-6 ft going into flower during long season. But then again I grow a lot of sativa dom because of the humidity, not because of light. Don't like humidity? Got to the other side of the island, problem solved. They even have a desert on the othe side of the island as well. Everything's a trade off. My plants tolerate colder weather better than I do:weed:

We figured it's about 1300 miles from my door to Joe's hood and the snow is epic, so not best time to drive I guess. Figure another thousand miles or so to California and the cheap Southwest flights to the major hubs are the ticket. I have been wanting to make a BBQ forever and with flights to Sacramento from Nashville in the $300 range, it will happen soon.

I believe I am going to fish for a few days in a private lake in SW Georgia with an old navy buddy on some property bordering Ft Stewart. It's full of big hybrid 'gills and Florida strain largemouth, so it's pretty fun. Savannah and its nightlife are less than an hour away and man, what a fun town!

As an Englishman I feel considerable envy when I watch YOUTUBE vids of wonderful looking outdoor grows (usually in America).
Durban is supposed to grow outdoors in the UK climate - but, in my experience, it doesn't do that great.
In fact I have never, in 25 years of loving everything about cannabis, ever had a UK grown, outdoor strain, that even managed to be AVERAGE QUALITY SMOKE.
Window Ledge Wank would be a fitting description.

In America I have read about KENTUCKY BLUE GRASS and I've seen back yards in Northern California that look fantastic!
Arizona and New Mexico also seem to bring out some amazing outdoor plots.....

WHERE IN THE USA ARE THE BEST CONDITIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL OUTDOOR GROW???
Wabash valley Indiana. Corn belt region Midwest. Harvest end of September before the mold sets in. 77' gettin' it!

True on some level. I post alot, give alot of med advice, extraction advice etc.
The title under my name means nothing. You are correct, but thats not what makes me well known and ive posted hundreds of plant pics as well as other drugs.

Seems your a bit upset
