Now now...be nice....

So here's a picture of some indoor grown - drying Upstate bud.

It seems like at gardenscure there's also a lot of unhappy people with bc seeds but there are also some journals with pictures that shuts a lot of them up.

Most of the unhappy campers are from the states it would seem.

Just an observation...

Don2009:

Yeah, there's a lot of unhappy people in the states and in other places where there are people like the republicans controlling people with fear and negative propaganda. May Cheney die in extreme agony. Conservatives drive me mental.

If you do end up buying from BC seeds, maybe you could order a cheaper strain instead of the more expensive strains. If you do buy from there, you might want to catch the big sales where everything's pretty much half price. There was a huge one at X mas. Another just ended in pre spring. That way you don't risk as much of your money. But that's just a suggestion should you decide to go that route.

I wouldn't live in the USA if you paid me a million bucks. Go and travel the world and find happiness is my attitude to life. There are some happier countries out there. The USA isn't one of them though.

Anybody out there grown elephant bud (outdoor strain or the regular stuff) or the Upstate? Would love to hear from you.

I met a very cool person who provided me with a picture of his still wet but pruned upstate. Thought I'd show you all what it looks like. This person grew in a 50 litre bucket in soil.

He said they have better flavor, he doesn't say he dislikes the upstate just that he prefers the others.

And you have yourself a good day too:leaf:

Right on Rasclot.

I wish you all the best with your growing out your dedi. May the force be with you.

Usually if you've spent over $300 on your order they give you an extra 10 of whatever you ordered. That's not always the case though so don't take my word as gospel.

And I agree, do a grow journal. The question for me is do you do it while you're growing....or do you just take all the pictures and wait til after you've taken care of your weed. Then post all the pictures. That's the debate I'm having in my head.

But it would be great if more BC seeds customers put out more grow journals. I completely agree with you. Shut down a lot of the negativity that comes to people who grow strains from bcseeds.

Have a wonderful evening.

You might be right Shep J. I'm trying to speak with this person now to find out what I can. Here are two shots of two different female upstates. I could be wrong but they may have just started the flowering process. They were grown in a 50 litre pot of soil each.

So far I have found 2 people who have grown upstate who have pictures to show.

Have a good night all.

I have heard back from one of the people that grew upstate and provided me with some pictures. If there's anyone else out there who'd like to share their adventures with upstate or any of the elephant strains, I'd love to hear from you.

Here is what the grower briefly said...

"Ok... My upstate was beautiful... she was advertised as a 6wk flower....but my girls went 10 weeks all in all...She did flower well tho... she had huge colas..."

Have a great weekend everyone!

you dont have to have grown out BCSEEDS gear to know that they are a ripoff. not even going to waste any more time, some ppl are just too stubborn and retarded to do some research.

What do you call what I'm doing right now? I have always said that I will post a negative result or a positive result of my own grow results and over the weekend I also made the decision to try and grow some other strains as well - not from BC seeds.

There are very few BC seed posts because BC seeds tells people not to participate in the forums. But I don't feel comfortable with that. If I shell out mega bucks for a strain, I would like to do some internet research and try to find out whatever I could about the strains I wanted to grow. I would want to find pictures and see what the thing looks like in veg and in flower.

If I step away from bc seeds for a moment and look at the BC BUD DEPOT pinewarp strain...that's supposed to be a 3 pound yielder. If you grow it right and the variables work your way. But finding information with lots of pictures is very hard because not a lot of people have posted pictures of it. There's some, but not a lot.

Some people say BC seeds is a rip off, some people say they've grown it and had terrible results, others have stated the strains they have are awesome. The reality is that you won't know the truth til you try it yourself.

But if I were to pay out big money for strains like oracle, infinity, pickle, storm trooper etc. from bc seeds, if I went that way...I would surely be on the internet trying to find out anything and everything I could.

I can tell you from personal experience that BC seeds delivered to me everytime I ordered but that's all I can say right now.

I'm still looking to hear from people who have grown upstate or elephant. Pictures super appreciated!!!

Thanks all...

What are you looking for just high yield? I would try Spice of Life's "Donk". I have never personally tried it but I have grown out Spice of Life's Sweet Tooth # 3, Block Head, and Shishkaberry, and all were killer strains that yielded huge. So I would imagine that anything he calls Donk has got to be a huge producer. I have never had a strain of his that didn't I think was a winner, so I would start there but get the Pinewarp too and lets see how they compare.

Thank you very much for that bit of information Nick Nasty. I think I might be able to get my hands on some pinewarp clones. So I can certainly grow a couple of those this coming summer if I can get my hands on the babies.

Can I ask anyone if they've ever used a feminized strain from any seed company? Do they work? I've never grown them before. I have feminized upstate.

I may have a lead for some elephant clones for May or June as well but am unsure if that will happen. We shall see.

I think growing a variety this summer might be a good idea so we can all be educated on what does what.

Nick Nasty...I would like a big yield...and I mean several pounds per plant if that is achievable outdoors. But I also want some really good potency too. Pinewarp offers poundage, so does upstate, elephant regular, and elephant outdoors. The hugest yield is claimed to be 'elephant outdoors' but nobody has any pictures of it.

I once had shiskaberry clones and they rocked man. They were awesome plants. But they got ripped off outdoors so I only got a few ounces from what the ganja bandits had left behind.
