I have another 200w cheap LED light I picked up cheap. Thinking of using 1 for each plant.
they're going to be massive lol.. I was going to do that UPDAYDAY on its own then add a spiderfarmer 1000 because it's just sitting there not being used. When does your light arrive?

I have been watching this light and discounts for a bit. I have it on the top of my list to replace my current light.

It gets quite hot from what i read. What parts are throwing the heat? Led driver?

Are they cheap led diodes?

Hoping there will be some awesome grows with the light for everyone.

The middle encasing that I assume house the driver does not get very warm. The top of each light bar is what got HOT for me. But I had no fan on it. With a small 6" fan, it has stayed fairly cool... and to be fair I never had the best air flow.
My thermo gun came today so I will update a couple hours after lights on around 7-8pm CT

So lights been on 2.5 hours. With 1 fan blowing across. Average reading 108F. I did find a hot spot on the under side towards the back at 120F. Leaf temp on plants averages 75F with light 22" away. Hope this helps. At least I know now I'm not frying anything yet

Thanks for the measurements. I will be watching for sales. 75f is good at the canopy. Happen to read the ppfd? I use photone to measure.

Your question made me download this app. I obviously have no idea how accurate it is. Or how it even could be. Lol. Dead center reading and farthest wall reading. (Light 50% dimmed)
