Same way with me and the wife. She can't sit out on the deck for 5 minutes without getting mauled by mosquitoes. I can sleep outside on a bedroll on top of a sleeping bag,and do often, and not get a nibble. Must be genetics like you said, body chemistry has something to do with it and I think wearing a lot of chemicals on your body does too. The soaps you use, shampoo, laundry detergent and deodorant...all that stuff plays a part with those little bastards sniffing you out I think.

They love CO2 as well... I've seen CO2 traps for outside. We breathe out 30-50,000 ppm every breath we take and exhale. I've seen my Spartan meter in the grow go from 900ppm to 1800+ with four people in there working. The CO2 genny will not kick in while there are people in there. It will give me an "output" reading if it's been a while since it kicked in. I just have to push the reset button and it knows everything is ok. This only happens about 2 times per grow cycle... otherwise, 98% of the time, Im the only one in there.
