YAWN....
your cool...
stay cheap...
well, you look a lil silly without even running them first, maybe pop your Bodhi seeds before engaging in conjecture?
Just a suggestion...
I'd bet money if you ran those you'd say nothing but good things after.
then you can say what you want
OR I can give you my shop address and i'll happily pay for the shipping to it, and you can give me your seeds.

. She won't wear something if too many other people are wearing them. I suspect you'll both grow out of this...
I sorta suffer from the same malady though...
I REAAAALLY like making seeds that nobody else has..
just crossed a frosty pink lotus male with a sour lemon og that tastes JUST like bubble gum..
Gotta remember... economics 101.
Supply and demand.

never said bodhi doesnt have fire... thats the reason why i have a good amount of bodhi gear...
its just the bodhi crowd...
like the other guy said... bodhi has a bernie sanders style of following...
but worse... more like the kardashian style following...

Same with nirvana very boring pictures, no zing. Also only available through his own site right? Too many "eh it was mediocre" reports for me...i think this is a loaded question anything underrated has proven to earn that bad rating yet there will be some people that have found a great plant and not understand why it's disliked. I think you can take any strain and eventually get a good pheno.

For instance I ran a barneys pineapple chunk that was a monster plant, good grower, final product was straight pineapple tropical fruit and it transferred into the taste probably better than anything I've ever smoked.... All I found on riu and the net was about 80 percent to 90 prevent negative reviews.
Nirvana runs better than anything else I have run. That's weird, ive heard mainly good things about pineapple chunk and barneys. I'm running barneys critical kush again.

well, considering i'm a big Bodhi fan, a big dynasty fan (sorta affiliated with sannie), AND a Bernie fan, I guess we probably won't be hanging out after work then huh?
I think a big thing with Bodhi is that the guy seems like a cool person, and what he does is living the dream that many of us would like, I mean he travels the globe looking for landraces.
ever since Rosenthal and mel frank did that in the 80s and 90s... I mean that's fuckin a cool life man..
But run your Bodhi stuff man.
I've been more than impressed on everything I've tried, with the exception of my friends dank zappa, but I think that was user-error.
tranquil elephant was great, pineapplehashplant was even better (good enough to crack my "keepers")
in about 3 months i'll be able to judge the dank zappa, and pink lotus.
in 7 months the SSDD, purple wookie, and dream beaver.
in 12 months, the blue tara, goji og etc, etc.

I understand your complaint about the "hype"
but if you went through the Bodhi thread, some of the NICEST buds I've ever seen pictured, are pictured there.
and I've seen my share of nice nugs man, believe me there.

TGA Ripped Bubba. I deemed it similar, but better, than Bodhi SSDD when both occupied jars in the stash cupboard. Finished almost 2 weeks sooner, as well.
Nice info. Have you grown some other bubba crosses? If so would Ripped Bubba be your favorite out of the ones you have tried? I've been looking at some bubba seeds, (hazeman, loud seeds, humbolt seeds) and am not sure where to start. I might have to give TGA a try. I have a pack of Mad Kush from Sannies but I havn't heard much about that one.

I did the Loud pre 98 - just one - and it was a good plant. Heavy stone, decent enough taste, but not great for my preference. I grabbed the SSDD because of all the fuss at the time, and found the stone and yield to be fine, but nothing amazing, and a 10 week finish the 4 I finished. I'm sure that the JTR - the Rippe[r]d part of the cross, added the speed, flavor and 56 - 62 day finishing times the others did not have. I ran 5 to finish so far. FME so far, Bubba isn't something I want often, but nice to have around for the now and then down low.

If Mad Kush is Mad SCientist, and MS is a heri cross, I'd personally avoid it.

GG bag seed i grew out has been impressing me, great yielder with a chem cheese smell and taste. Also the only genetic from IHG PGSCxAC i have harvested is looking nice so far. Smells sweet and slightly fruity, turned purple in the last 3 weeks of flower, not a yielder but looks good.

Thanks for the reply, I think I'll go with Madness by Hazeman and that Amos approved ripped Bubba when I get around to doing some Bubba Kush crosses. I've been curious about Hazeman and have some of his other stuff I am going to run soon. I need to pick up a pack or two of that Chernobyl next time around too.

How long did they take in bloom, KN? Have you also ran Blood Orange? Those were a big zero for me, but I have a few Satsuma planned for a fall run, perhaps.
sweet orange/Citrus rind pheno's went ~9 wks, Tropical fruit pheno(forgot about this 1)10 wks + Sweet Floral/Hashy 75 days

Haven't run blood orange, but I've run crosses from appalachia + IME he dominates more than Lotus.

I did find some awesome females that I've kept from Golden Triangle/Wolf Pack.
I think Appalachia was a good mate for kush/chem clones.

Lol right when I clicked on this I mockingly thought "what about bohdi" and sure enough... Bohdi and sannies has like a Bernie sanders style following.
You would be able to say they are under hyped, except for those twenty guys that are over hyping them lol their pictures are very lackluster and I just don't see the appeal
Gotta grow it to know whats in it.
I have experience growing this particular strain + haven't seen ANY1 besides me mention growing Satsuma on this site. So how is it over-hyped?

I can't smoke a picture, so they don't tell the whole story.
You want killer pictures of Bodhi that aren't on seedbanks?
BBay/or if you care to dig through the thread on this site(however you wont find Satsuma pics here)

Greendot labs has the only other pics I've seen of Satsuma(on bbay).
Firestax has my pics if you can find them.

There's probably a ton of strains and breeders alike.

imo a huge part of the seed game is hype. I'm not denying there are actual elites out there but there has gotta be a ton of wicked herbage out there that will never be seen or heard by the masses.

Just like sports there's tons of talented athletes that'll never see the pro leagues for one reason or another. Same thing with musicians. Music is all marketing.

could not have said any better....
its almost embarrassing...
definitely turns me away from popping my bodhi's.....
but i do see some good pics from bodhi every now and then...
What prevents you from growing bodhi? send them to me...
I'm finding dank females + males that produce large glandular trichs on stems/leaves+sacks.

I've seen pics of males some breeder's use and don't see much if any trich coverage.
