I made my ex do it. Even then it took other incentives. Never tried dry ice.

Ah. Everything but the squeal, eh? Yeah, I wasted a lot. Doing an ice water run is going to give you a much better hash, but you are right about the edibles.yea man...you just throw it in the bag...let her sit for about 5-10 min and start shaking out on the glass top.
In the pic...this was my 1st run doing this another way: 1st I blasted this trim with bho (bho method takes the top of the tric mushroom head off only), I spread the trim out for a few days and let the butane dissipate and then ran it with dry ice and got all this bub hash (essentially I got the stem that was left of the tric)...this was the result. Difference is with this method...the bho blasting took all the terpines with it. So this ice bub hash has no smell at all. Still stoney when smoked, still great for edibles....
This forum is amusing. So much misinformation regarding ice hash here. Can you please explain to me how a wooden spoon knocking into herb and ice is any different than a solid ice cube knocking into herb and ice? That's too slow man!
A wash mashine work bag full of material +ice in a washing machine, is only being aggitated, vs. an object like a wooden spoon, or kitchen mixer making contact with the material in a bubble bag work bag. So much more potential for getting green contaminates in the final product with spoons, etc.
In the end, you gotta do what you gotta do though, I get it. I've done the wooden spoon a couple times
yes you have to "chop it into dust". In not dried properly you face white-out/buddering and even worse the potential for microbial growth(mold, mildew, bacteria).thank you.
i just got done leaving tissue paper over it to soak up the main water around the chunks that came from skimming the chunks off the silk screen. then i scraped it all into one pile, and broke up that pile with a razor a bit to expose the most surface area to the air. it's on top of parchment paper which is on top of cardboard. moisture does not seem to mind going right through the parchment paper.
do i really have to chop it into dust?
and i weighed it out. it looked like 6-8 grams worth, but the scale says 23. what percentage does it usually lose? 20-25% of wet weight is kinda standard with buds, what's the ratio with water hash?
Also remember, gold in gold out.thank you sincerely. i'll go get one tomorrow, watch some bubbleman vids.
my instinct is that this is a shit run, but hopefully i'll get better.
Use light agatation if you do it right u can make ice wax u can dabif done right, it should be golden/blond.
it looks like (from what little research i've done) it may turn out greenish or brownish if you suck at it.
no idea about texture or other characteristics.
My favorite was sour diesel. .the flavor is delicious. ..but caution any exposure to heat causes sweet golden butter....Durban poison smells like candy...taste like nirvana. ...Also remember, gold in gold out.
The best hash comes from the best starting material. Unlike BHO you cannot turn trash into stash with ice and water.
Just whip it in a jar in ur hand...the body heat and friction convert it to butter...if it's sticky enough. ..all depends on how fresh ur weed is when you initially run it.Use light agatation if you do it right u can make ice wax u can dab
Not all strains are created equally. Some trichomes contain less oil content, and thicker membranes protecting the heads, Which result in a product with a soft sand consistency, and just simply won't dab full melt. It will leave a carbon black cake... It is really strain specific when it comes down to it. Now, to fix these sandy hash pulls, You collect these same non-dabbable strains and apply Rosin Tech to it, the oils will be forced out of the membranes and the product will be full melt.Use light agatation if you do it right u can make ice wax u can dab
Well there's mixed feelings on that one, bags are supposedly good, but that washing machine he put his company sticker on and marked up 300 percent is silly. He does know his shit, and takes great pictures though, I can say that...I bought my bubble bags after meeting the bubble man at the HTCC (Amsterdam) 2001 or 2. Does he still make as good a product? His shit is so well made that mine are still in excellent shape. Nice plackets too. @bubble man ? that you?
i found that last night. just perfect. Here is a complete tutorial I wrote http://coloradobudblog.com/tutorials/extraction-tutorials/ice-water-hash-extraction/. I am not going to type it all out here, so I hope this helps. Any questions just hit me up...
I was more referring to using a kitchen beater, not the spoon. Can't quite make much product with the spoon thoughSo sorry to hear you paid a shit load of money for a 4 bag set. At least they are kind of the right sized bags but...... 8 bag set is where it's at.

mixed by hand with a wooden spoon. Do you see any plant matter besides the 1 little flake I flicked off my gloves on accident?? Just don't be dumb and thrash the material.
