turbo fan wiring help needed..

ok so I took my turbo fan apart to build a quiet box for it and now I am stumped.. does anyone have or can take a pic of the wires inside the box so I can see what gets wired???? I have a generic mtn.. turbo fan.. I just can't remember what goes to what.. HELP PLEASE..there are 3 white wires and I can't remember a damn thing.. that's why they call it dope..lol

Just 3 white wires? No red or black?
No diagram?

standard red,white,black from power cord. 2 white from compositor and yellow stripe and black from fan. no diagram

Electric motors have a starter capacitor that is only in use while it spools up to full power. It should be - red goes to one of the whites from the capacitor, then the other white should go to the yellow striped.
black should go to black and earth to something metal.
It's an electric motor so if you've wired it around the wrong way, it will run in reverse. if this happens, swap them around.
