trying to quit smoking, best method for making butter that gives smoking "high"?

I know this question sounds stupid but my asthma has gotten so bad that I have to stop smoking. But getting high helps my anxiety and sometimes good for my asthma, but not when I smoke it. I have a vaporizer but I don't enjoy it that much and I sometimes still cough..

So I am trying to cook about a half ounce of some chronic sativa in some butter (maybe make a tincture). I usually take a rip when I wake up and with the sativa its great because I feel motivated and inspired, but thats smoking. My past experiences with cooking have been either not getting high at all or getting TOO high to even do stuff..

So my question for all you non smokers out there that still like to get high daily, what would be my best recipe or plan to do with the pot so that I good take a little bit each morning and throughout the day so I don't get too stoned that I can't function but still get uplifted and high and feel good. Basically, if I like taking a rip or two in the morning, how can I achieve this high with out smoking. (I know the smoking high isn't the same as tincture high or cannabutter high, but there must be someone out there who is in a similar boat as me.)

I do not have a whole lot of experience making or for that matter consuming edibles but I have never had one with a similar high to smoking. You could also try vapes they work well for some people with breathing issues. You are still inhaling something so it may not be what youre looking for but the high (tho different) is much more similar to a smoking high than an edible high.

each person is going to be different.. I prefer capsules easy to make quick and effective for me..

I always suggest people make firecrackers if they can tolerate the taste.. easy and imo taste good..
 
yeah I have a vape but not really into it... I like the firecrackers idea but I would rather have a jar in my fridge of extracted thc in butter or oil that I can put on toast or something else. Anyone non smokers out there who get high daily some other way?

I make my butter with trim so I use around 2oz of trim to a pound of butter...throw that in a crockpot on low/warm with a few cups of water and cook it 6-8hrs stirring occasionally strain it and refrigerate it to seperate the butter from the water and voila! I usually make cookies with my butter and one cookie will keep me functionally medicated for a few hours...doses will be different for everyone but that's what works for me.

Since u said you have a half ounce of buds I'd probably go with half pound of butter tops but that depends on the potency of the strain.

:eyesmoke:Ero's butter recipe works great. Should be on here in the first page or two. You can change the ratio of bud to suit your tolerance. I get BAKED with that butter.

Gioua's oil is another sure fire way to get you stoned as well. If you just have buds, it may be easier to make the butter with them imho. If you have dry sift, oil is the way to go. You can also adjust the potency in the oil as well.

thank you I figured... I have wasted way too much MMJ trying things MY way.. lol figured helping others save a bit would be a good way to repay what I have learned here..

this got me trippy high.....melt alot of butter in a prying pan, add powdered hash ( this stuff was soo weak it wasnt worth smoking ) then we added pancake mix and me and my friend got so high.

Think the THC goes from the hash into the butter and is then cooked into the pancakes.
