Only 4 days until I flip. Making 4/20 even better. Plants going strong. I still have some branches to tie down on the Tahoe Animal, Sugar Mints, and Banana Fruit Cake. Tent is getting crowded. Bunch of bud sites. Should be fun when the stretching begins.

Hope everyone had great weekend! Enjoy the pictures.

Happy 4/20! :leaf:

Today is Day 1 of 12/12.
Total Veg Time: 46 and 36 days.
In Veg all plants were topped once and tied down. I top usually between 5-7 leaf sets.

Going forward 30-35 days is probably the sweet spot for my 3x3 tent.

Bra happy 4/20 your tent looks gorgeous keep up the good work! Your plants look healthy myne currently looks like ive been over watering her a bit with droopy leaves :(
Thanks, Hope you're having a great 4/20.

I had a learning curve with the Fox Farm ocean forest soil. It really retains water. I was watering too often in the beginning. Luckily was able realized it before running into problems.

I'd say let you plants dry out by not watering for at least 4 days. If the soil looks super dry on the 3rd day give them a little bit.
Try to avoid both extremes of Overwatering and Underwatering as they can cause more problems later on the road in flowering.

I will defoliate a little but not a lot. From what I've lurked on here, its preference.
With that being said, I'm all ears if defoliation is preferred before flowering when growing with LEDs.
my brother grew for like 4 years he never defoliated before flower not 1 bit but he didn't get the best yields either he would yield like .5grams per watt or .6 grams per watt if he was lucky lmfao

The good ol CFL days lol
I know I'm not going to get a massive yield. It's a trial run on what I can do with this light. Quality over quantity in a sense.
I will help some bud sites out by defoliating a little once the plants have stretched some.

Happy Sunday :eyesmoke:

I defoliated a little, then a little more. The tent is stinking but hard to distinguish through the cacophony of smells.

I have noticed I have a humidity issue when the lights first come on. Wet tent walls.
Humidity reaching 75%, knocking on the door of 80%. After airing out it's in the 45-50% range.

With this high humidity at night later on in flower will this open the window for mold/bud rot?

Bra why are your tent walls wet during lights off? Do you turn off your centrifugal fans during lights off? Bra this is begging for mold if you turn off your centrifugal fans during lights off stop it right know! Leave them on airflow is good remember that.

Fans are always on. I batten down the hatches trying to prevent light leaks. I need to find a material that can allow air thru but not light, if i want to leave any vents open at night. Probably air ducts is easiest way to achieve this.

Humidity issue update.
No wet tent walls and humidity was at 68% when light turned on.
I will have to get it under 60% to avoid any issues later on in flower.

Feed the ladies today.
In a gallon of water, I mixed in 1 tbsp Liq. plant food, 1/2 tbsp of grow big (final time feeding this), 1/2 tsp of Cal mag.
Waiting for the first signs of flowers to start big bloom feed.

Day 8 of 12/12.

:leaf:Its slowly becoming a jungle.:leaf:

I defoliated a couple days ago to give some lower branches some much needed light, The sugar mints (middle plant) needed to be raised up to match the canopy. I will need to raise it again if the others start to crowd it out again.

I messed up last night and forgot to close one lower flap on my tent. Luckily, I caught it an hour after lights out and I hope it doesn't bite me in the ass later on in flowering.

At this point there is not much to take pictures of in this stage but here are a couple.

As we wait for my ladies to get to the better part of flowering. Here is a friend's first grow I'm helping out with. They're in the middle of Week 4 if I remember correctly.

Tahoe Animal while there I noticed a potential cal-mag issue starting. Told him to use some next time he feeds an continue into the final weeks.
Let me know if am wrong on diagnoses.

As we wait for more picture friendly updates. I got some buds from a local event to enjoy. :leaf:

Day 14 of 12/12
The stretch continues...

Defoliated a little bit two days ago for better air flow as canopy was super dense. I raised the light a little to get better coverage to the corners of the tent.

Fed the ladies Grow big 1/2 tbsp, Tiger bloom 1/2 tbsp, Big bloom 1/2 tbsp and Cal mag 1/4 tbsp in one gallon mixes.

This was the last time feeding Grow Big as Pistils have shown up on all but the Tahoe animal. Started feeding Tiger bloom now.

I'm ordering a 4inch inline fan for exhaust to help mitigate the humidity as it still is a slight problem after running a duct to vent out top of tent.
In the pictures you'll see some spots from where I got some water on the leaves when feeding them. Other than that, so far so good.

If something catches your eye that I need to pay attention to, let me know and I'll great appreciate it.

Day 21 of 12/12

Cleaned up the lowers on all plants and gave about 20+ cuttings between all 5 plants to a friend who will root them and spread the love.

The feeding continues big bloom(1tbsp), Tiger Bloom(1tbsp) and Cal mag (1/2 tsp). Over the next four weeks I'll increase both of bloom nutrients to 2 tbsp each per gallon mix and up to 1.5 tsp of Cal mag.

4 out of 5 plants has finished stretching. Sugar mints being the final one to finish. It's leaning more Larry Og so It might be done. I will wait a couple more days before raising it....... again.

I received my 4-inch inline A.C infinity fan to exhaust out to keep my humidity levels stable. Been a week with it installed and humidity barely goes above 60% at nighttime, Hovers around 50% with light on.

Day 29
The smells in the tent are delightful.
Tomorrow the ladies get fed. Plants have been going 2-3 days between waterings.

After checking on my friends grow, I’m super excited for the later weeks.
Over the weekend I will raise the light for the final time after I figure out a way to rig it.

Week 7 for my friends grow.

About 2-3 weeks out from the chop. The Banana Fruit Cake really stealing the show. Tahoe has smaller buds comparatively but still very pleased with it.
