I realize you came to this forum with your own deficiencies and will be glad to point them out to you as one friend to another. Homophobia is curable. Just saying you can be a better person.

Definitely would be strange having a man dressed like a woman with tits in your foxhole. Maybe they can have their own platoon though can't hurt if they want to survive.

We are on the edge of WW3 after all I just hope Russia is an allied force again we would have been crushed in WW2 without Russia.

I don't think homophobia is a disease it's just natural I can tolerate being around gay people but I don't hang out with them like straight people. Most gays don't want to drink whiskey, party, shoot guns, box, fish, camp out at a pig roast, fuck women.

Gay people are not usually up to the ways of the mountain men.

The military is actually a pretty good macrocosm regarding social dynamics. In many cases the first time that two young people of different backgrounds will be in a situation where they must set aside differences and work together, lest they fucking die. Also consider that the military is the only option for social mobility for inner city and rural poor alike. Most people don't realize that it is often the poor, the troubled and those with few other options who end up wearing boots and carrying rifles. It's hard to be a teenage peckerwood when one's survival correlates directly to how well his black drill sergeant trains him. The uniform can't be racist or bigoted against itself.

As you say, homophobia isn't a chronic disease. It's a dysfunction. Recognizing you have it is the first step to correcting it. You might try saying what you said out loud as a test for validity. Just saying your dysfunction is correctable but it's up to you to take the first step.
