That is the cliff notes version. The cat was out of the bag a couple three months ago. So the firing is more about payback than ease of future corruption. And since 45's lawyers' So What defense held the day in the Senate, I don't think he is worried about getting caught anymore.

Read the news from reliable sources, if your a patriot who believes in the rule of law you'll be outraged. You sound like you're living in a cave and when you came out didn't know basic right from wrong.

This covers the scam Trump and his goons were pulling right up until they found out about the whistle blower and illegally withheld the complaint from Congressional oversight longer than the 2 weeks they were allowed, triggering the impeachment trial.

Welcome to the forum. People are on edge because for years now Russians has been using their military to attack everyone online from all angles. It is very hard to trust anyone anymore since 90% or so turn out to be a sock puppet account. If people get too rude to you, remember you always have a ignore button for a reason.

So after Trump triggered his own impeachment trying to keep his troll on Biden in the background until he could use it, the Congress started handing out Subpoena's and Vindman was one of the people who received one.

And knowing he was obligated under law to show up to the congressional hearing he did. Then once the Republicans let Trump off, he felt emboldened enough to start picking off his perceived enemies, Vindman and Sondland were the first two, firing also Vindman's brother who had nothing to do with anything other than being a relative of someone Trump perceived as his enemy.

I don't think it matters to Trump anymore about getting away with anything, since he just got Senate approval of shaking down vulnerable allies.
