TRUMP CONVICTED

BREAKING: Trump gets brutal news as a Florida lawyer files a federal lawsuit to disqualify Trump from the 2024 presidential race due to the “disqualification clause” in the Constitution's 14th Amendment than bans “insurrectionists” from office.

But it gets WORSE for Trump…

The lawyer declared in his lawsuit that it is “crystal clear” that Trump’s actions leading up to, on, and after January 6 show that he “both engaged in an insurrection and also gave aid and comfort to other individuals who were engaging in such actions, within the clear meaning of those terms as defined in Section Three of the 14th Amendment.”

The lawyer also argues that “the 800-plus page report issued last year by the congressional committee that investigated Trump's role in alleged efforts to thwart the electoral process, as well as accusations he incited the violence on Capitol Hill that day, are grounds for disqualification.”

The amendment was ratified in 1868 after the Civil War, during Reconstruction, and also addressed the citizenship status of freed slaves and the re-integration of the defeated Confederate states back into the Union. Applying the 14th Amendment's disqualification rule to Trump has been a rising talking point this month. The lawyer and a growing chorus of legal scholars, even prominent conservative ones, say that the amendment does not even require a conviction in the courts — but simply a finding that he violated the clause.

and here they come
People say it is indecorous of people to be happy to see this is happening. :D

you know when you read the 14th, it's sorta acts like it's automatic, then doesn't also go the the rest of his round circle as well, like meadows and all the rest?

You mean RICO applied back then also?

So if Trump sucks up all the small doner dollars and the money mainly goes to lawyers, does that mean the lawyers will donate it all back to the republican party or will they keep the majority of it and pay off a house or two? Would really hurt the republicans if they kept it for themselves?

It depends, if his secretary of state kept him off the ballot he would have to sue to get back on, opening himself up to discovery. If someone sued to keep him off, they could meet the evidence standard for a civil case. This is all rather murky since the constitution says a 2/3 majority of both houses is required to get back on. The SCOTUS will have to make the call to determine if someone is disqualified in the first place, even if the secretary of state says so. This would be necessary to prevent some red states from disqualifying Biden from the ballot. I'm just using logic here and they must too.

i don't think they had a RICO back in 1868 when they wrote the 14th after the civil war...js

part 2: i have no idea

but the orange idiot did lead a insurrection....and that's what the last 2 lines of the 14th says:

doesn't say anything about courts and secretary of state and any of it.......plainly says he's disqualified, and the only way to get back on is to get 2/3 each house of congress to put him back on, i'm guess that means each state has to put him back on the ballot??

Of course they did not have it. But don't tell Trump.

Sorry, but it's been tried. Maybe new evidence will come out of all of this but thus far, what she did wasn't enough for what you want.

How many cards in a deck? Enough for the mug set as well as the alternate slate? Sure there is room for MTG.

He will plead the 5th I suppose, if he testifies, otherwise all his public statements can be used against him in court and he can't say a word except under oath and his lawyer has to be careful about lying in court too. In public Donald has a muzzle on his piehole, we will see how that works out.

I'm not sure the glass would last long with a few shots in ya staring at that mug half drunk, it might get hurled across the room!

Shyoot 'em up, like that kidrock guy. I saw that video. He looks like the gummies kicked in 10 minutes earlier. He wouldn't have had the impact without the off-camera gun. Loser.
