As Trump's documents/espionage court date approaches, his posts show he has INSURRECTION on his mind

Donald Trump's documents crimes/obstruction of justice/espionage case is schedule for a court hearing this coming Tuesday. This will be the SECOND test for Trump-appointed Judge Aileen Canon. Judge Cannon failed the first test when an appellate court ruled that she abused her discretion in favor of Donald Trump. She will now be tested again regarding setting a trial date. Trump's lawyers have told her to set NO TRIAL DATE at all, whereas Special Counsel Jack Smith repeatedly has asked the judge to set a December 11, 2023, trial date.

Interestingly, even though Trump stands indicted in one federal criminal case, he seems to have another federal criminal case on his mind. In the mother of all Freudian slips, Donald Trump mistakenly posts something about "the insurrection act" when he intended to post about "the espionage act." Prompting the question: "consciousness of guilt much, Donald?"

Trump lavishes praise on Judge Aileen Cannon, hoping she will delay his federal trial in Florida

Donald Trump is nothing if not completely and pathetically predictable. When judges preside fairly and independently over his trials and cases, he says they are "Trump-hating judges."

Yet now that he is on the verge of a court hearing at which Judge Aileen Cannon will have to set a trial date for his documents/obstruction of justice/espionage trial, he curries favor with her by saying she is "a very smart judge, a very strong judge and . . . she loves our country."

The question now is, will the flattery get Trump what he wants? Or will Judge Cannon decide to redeem herself - after the appellate court ruled that she abused her discretion previously in favor of Trump - and set a timely trial date in Trump's case.
