Trim these monster fan leaves???

Cool man thats the kind of info I was looking for. Do you trim or prune at all during veg? Im trying to flip from veg to flower once a month so they wont be monsters. Wondering if I should trim at all at this point besides topping. Maybe the first branch.
The guide I follow for trimming comes from the ILGM recommendation. Here's a link in everything you could want to know about trimming without getting too advanced, though there are certainly advanced techniques discussed.

.

I wish I didn't trim this grow at all if that helps and I won't be doing it again. I won't lollipop either.

I see your led is quite a ways up. Thinking of moving mine up now. Specs said it does a 4x5 at 12 in tho
I just got the Spydr 2P and hung them 12in per MFR specs and got light burn quick! I was able to save them because I caught it within the first several hours and moved my lights up. They still show signs of burn on the newer growth that is now getting larger a week after the fact but they're pulling through just fine!

Thx for the input man. Was just trying to get them lower branches to reach the top. Planning a scrog
Lst and scrog go hand in hand. It increases the effect of the scrog.
Thx for your input man. Any thoughts on cause of unhappiness???
We need more info but right off I agree that your plants look dry. What is your watering schedule, what's the medium info, ect?

Sure thing! Also get this app on your phone and measure the light on your canopy. I almost spent $40 on one when I found smart phones can use a free app!

Look for this in the play store:

PPFD Meter App
Now that's a brilliant idea! Thanks for the hookup homie!

They were dry at that point. Coco perlite maybe 60/40. Botanicare kind nutes and some supplements. 3 gal fabric pots they will finish in. I always water till I get descent run off and since ive put them in these 3 gallons they stay wet halfway thru for 3 days. So once every 3 days atm. Suspect that will increase tho as they grow. When they were in 1 liters was watering about every 36 hrs. I wait till the top looks dry but I can still feel some weight from water underneath. Thoughts?

Lst looked like a lil more than I want to get into atm. Also i was planning 1 plant per square foot so dont think Id have the room. May need more room as it stands. 20 in a 4×5. Is that unrealistic? The math seemed to add up with # of branches and spots in my scrog.

Those are your solar panels. They store your energy. I selectively clip large fans once flowering is really going. I like to look down from the top to check light penetration. When I do indoor, depending on strain, I lollipop. Fuck those bottoms sometimes.

LST is easier than it seems. Basically bend the plant gently and use a twist tie to keep in place. That's it. Supercropping, now that freaked me out the first time into not doing it. But I ended up with 3.85oz from my grow and was PISSED! It was due to my shitty light mostly, hence the Spydr 2P. This is my second grow but I have an intense background in hydroponics from high school. Ironic! High school... lol Anyways.

I figured I had nothing to lose and would just move to the next sucker/grow shoot if I broke it too much. Just squeeze the plant like a nipper, not too hard and roll in your fingers until it softens. Then you do that over a small span and bend it slowly until it knuckles. I broke the circled branch and it still recovered. The other two bent as planned.

Believe I was thinking of supercropping. Lst is just applying some pressure to get them where you want them to go? Make them stronger? Have you heard of a company called ecofarm? I ordered this light but thinking I may have gotten ripped off. Still not shipped and wouldnt offer a refund.

That is a great way to think of it! They are solar panels powering the entire plant!

You're in coco and perlite but you're watering like you're in soil. That's a problem right there. You don't want to let coco dry out.
