Tried and true subcool strain?

Yeah, ordered some G13 Pineapple Express, been hearing great things about it. This gives me something heavier and reliable to get going with while I find the perfect Querkle and Qush mothers. Having choices is never bad. :)

Yeah Vortex and QT were high on my maybe list. I'll look at Cheesequake. I'm looking for stability, something that doesn't hermie, something fairly uniform in phenotype, something 'predictable' ya know.
I am growing vortex now and have several times along with deathstar (which is amazing) however the vortex is a very stretchy plant!, when topped it nearly grows directly horizontal so id say its a no go for a small space smells great looks great and moderate yields. trying this plant outdoors this year expecting them to get enormous !!! just ordered querkle along with 13 other strains a week ago;-) hoping some of them pay off as well as deathstar does.

Yeah i think thats the unanimous verdict. And in my eyes its dead on. Like I said, Querkle is without doubt one of the very best tasting strains out. Its def in my top three of top smokes. To me, I prefer it out a clean iced bong, for me it does'nt get any better.

Cheers~ Happy 420 World!

I went and saw a friend of mine last night, the week before I brought him some querkle and really didnt tell him anything about it, I went to see him again last night with something else but the first thing he starts telling me very enthusiastically is, how he kept cleaning his bowl to keep taking first hit of that shit, then dump it, clean the pipe again, repeat. And my shit is ok, next to one of the vets around here my shit is dirt but like a decent mid-to-upper grade dirt without a lotta shake, lol. but seriously, thats just how good querkle is, not even speaking about what a pleasure it is to grow all be it a little slow in veg its all good, very good. I plan to order some seeds soon, I like it so much I'm having a hard time ordering a new strain instead of querkle, I'm thinking qleaner or qrazy train but it truly is all good dude, they're all good.

Querkle is one of those strains everyone needs to buy a couple extra packs of and stash them for a rainy day.

I could'nt agree more. For me , querkle is just one of those strains that I always have to have in my stash. I look forward to it every night. Especially for my insomniac mind, it has one of the neatest abilities to shut my racing mind down upon command. Just rip a bong of querkle and whalla , Im in veg state of bliss that allows me to actually reach REM.

1 of the few strains that have not built up a tolerance to. There is no ceiling for me, its usually just a overdose and then zzzzz. But never any physical hangovers.

*Advice to anyone learning about tga. RJ41, is a well known troll within this community as well as the tga community. He's often fond of stating what he considers himself ( just like the prime example in is signature) but what he fails to have the capacity to understand is what OTHERS in THIS COMMUNITY, CONSIDER HIM AS!

Just saying, your a useless nobody and a epic troll, and nobody has based any validity with you. Yet thousands have placed years of validity with tga.

**Pardon this post. I just realized that some people have the ability to remove senseless statements. Thanks to whomever took care of the troll.

While he does indeed seem to troll a bit, it' still worth bearing in mind that you'll find very little negative talk about any of the strains for the reason that Subcool likes to moderate the shit out of anything negative relating to his strains. I stated budrot for a reason and it was not grower error, 3 years without a single issue of rot, his strains, such as void, were highly susceptible to it, while all other strains growing alongside in the same cupboard were absolutely fine. But yes, entirely user error and should be deleted by the moderator for the slander it is.. I have no connections anywhere, i siply say it how i experience it. I mean hell, according to this forum i'm an attitude seedbank emplyee for explaining how uk cannabis law works.

I deleted you post because I Bud rot is an Environmental issue not a genetic one I mean come on man go look through the now 200 pages of TGA by others I don't have bud rot in my rooms nor does Dioxide, Occanabis, TCcurtiss, Earl, T-Ray or 20 other TGA growers.
Lower your humidity and increase your air circulation. I live in one of the dampest climates in the USA and I have zero rot
Now lets see if anyone else agrees.

I can handle negativity there was a huge influx of trolls last week due to the Amp circus and I mistakenly grouped you in with them and for that I am sorry a bit quick on the draw.

Not a single other strain in my cab suffered in 3 years. Yours did. That makes it more susceptible to bud rot than other strains. That was my point. Yes budrot is due to the environment, but as my growing has shown, yours required a much more specific environment, every other strain i've grown was just fine. As such your strains were ore susceptible to budrot than other strains available.

Put simply the strains of yours i grew were a lot more particular to the environment than anything else i've grown and showed it's displeasure in incredible negative ways, that is to say, budrot. The smoke was great, the amount of lost plant matter as a result of the rot, not so great.

I've grown some singles from TGA, and recently bought some packs. I've never had a bud rot issue with Subcool's seeds, although I grow in a damp basement and it has been a problem with other plants here and there....Some of my most successful pheno's (from single seeds) were Querkle and Cheesequake. Both are outstanding, but I quit the Querkle to grow ChQ. Both are extremely tasty, but the ChQ has a much better yield and a buzz that's a little more dense. I've been cloning the ChQ for a long time and running it alongside all the other things I've been growing. Getting around to some more TGA now, with 3 for 3 Plushberry sprouted. (just got 5-packs of Ace, Space Dawg, Ripped B, and Plushberry, singles of DQ and JC2- but missed the freebie promo!!)

Budrot indoors?

Your grow must be super humid man. I grow in a basement on the Maine coast, humidity here is always high. I have never had budrot indoors, not once in 20 years. Everyone up here that grows outdoors fights that battle most seasons, but indoors I've never heard of that.

Seriously, sounds like a circulation issue or are you foliar feeding flowering plants?

In 3 1/2 years of growing tga, I have yet to encounter any bud rot or powdery mildew. Im positive the logic behind someone thinking bud rot is a genetic malfunction/mutation is not very well informed. Heavily misinformed.

I have grown Vortex, Jillybean, 3d, the Void, the flav, qrazy train, querkle, cheese quake, pandora's box, and time wreck. Not 1 hermie in 3+ years of growing tga, and not one 1/2 gram of bud rot. I always find keepers, and 9 times outta 10 the hardest thing about tga is deciding which of the awesome plants to keep as mothers. Thats been my greatest struggle. In that struggle I have found that I have become a pot snob. Thats about the only ill side effects from tga genetics :)

Cheers World~
