Not a single other strain in my cab suffered in 3 years. Yours did. That makes it more susceptible to bud rot than other strains. That was my point. Yes budrot is due to the environment, but as my growing has shown, yours required a much more specific environment, every other strain i've grown was just fine. As such your strains were ore susceptible to budrot than other strains available.
Put simply the strains of yours i grew were a lot more particular to the environment than anything else i've grown and showed it's displeasure in incredible negative ways, that is to say, budrot. The smoke was great, the amount of lost plant matter as a result of the rot, not so great.
ive never had a problem with bud rot with tga strains, to be honest ive never had bud rot indoors, do u have a meter in ur cab that measures the high and low points of humidity for 24hrs? if u dont u should invest in one it might solve ur problem u might get a high spike of humidity during ur night cycle when lights are off, u can get a digital meter at wallyworld for like 8bucks i think, idk brotha ive seen some pretty good bud rot resistance from sub's strains (the ones ive grown i havent grown all of them) during the 2010 outdoor season i had a jack the ripper and a querkle that went thru 3 rain storms in october, every couple hours id have to go out and shake the water off the buds, i was lucky the storms only lasted a few hours for each storm but even tho the jtr and the querkle should no signs of bud rot, and i checkd like a mouse lookin for cheese bro lol weirdly enough those two plants didnt have any bud rot on them but my strawberry haze got hit hard and i lost bout half my harvest of that plant to bud rot, so idk bro im not tryin to pick a prick and tell u what to do but i would definitly keep a eye on the highs and lows of ur humitidy, also what other strains were growing at the time? are they known for being very resistance to bud rot?? i know of a few strains that ive seen first hand grow in a room that was full of bud rot and not get any bud rot at all, sum strains are very resistant to certain molds and mildews and if ur growing a mix of strains that r known for high resistance against bud rot in a high humidity enviroment of course they will do better than strains that arn't as resistant but possibly more potent, thats nature and it happens in nature all the time ever walkd thru the redwood forest? ul see trees that are completely takin over by mold growin right next to another tree tha has none but is the same age if not older than the tree that was covered in mold, its like takin a landrace sativa from africa and growing it outdoors in the canadian moutains, wrong enviroment so there will be problems
like i said im not tryin to sound like a prick but from what i can get from ur post it sounds like u had a humidity problem and sum off ur strains were more resistant to that enviroment than others
