Transplanting from Rockwool cube straight to 3 gallon pot?

I’m wondering if I can take my clone in a rockwool cube and place it right in the 3 gallon pot. The 3 gallon will be its final container. I was going to put in a solo cup first then move but was wondering if I can skip that step?

You'd rather pull the roots out that are embedded into the rockwool cube and shock /run the chance of killing your plant?!
Do as you wish my guy!
What on earth are you talking about?

He's not asking if he has to rip the rockwool away from the roots. He's asking if he can put the rooted cube into a massive 3 gallon container instead of going into an intermediate/smaller container first.

The answer is yes he can, but its a mistake. He should transplant into a much smaller container first.
