Topping advice

That's happens 100% of the time.
New growth will look deformed as it growths and it will grow slow for the next 7-10 days

In a few days lower shoots will start growing fast and you will start to see the plant fill out.

Your going to enjoy it.

The plant may need less water over the next couple of days( so be careful not to over water her)

So this is what they look like this morning. Did it split? I’m seeing more growth below but not where I cut. It’s been 4 days. Wondering if something is wrong and would like your input.. thx

Looks good, the top growth will be stunted for 7-14 days and the plant redirects food to the lower shoots, how are they looking (2-3 sets of shoots from the top) ?
Are they starting to stretch ?

The new shoots are getting bigger on the bottom. They went to bed (12-6pm) so I can’t take a pic. They were growing new on the bottom before I fimmed and since they are bigger. Just can’t tell from normal growth or from fimming. The top scares me bc I’ve seen some pics of others at the 4th day and they look like cabbage . Thinking I went too low and topped them.

When you fim them, I said you cut it a little too low and it could take a week longer.

The idea behind topping and fim is to slow the upper growth, so the lower growth can catch up to give you a bushy plant.

I know what you mean and said. Maybe my wording was bad.. basically, I know I went too low , my question is : do I need to cut lower and just top it ? Bc If I went too low I’m wondering if I just cut the internode and leaving just new fan leaves basically just stunting the top growth without implementing what the fimming process does.. thx for your time..

Tick-tok. Thanks again
Sorry fellow, when you fim/top a plant, within 2 weeks, you will see the bottom growth bush out, so there not set rule's and you can't really mess it up at this stage.

You have to wait about 2 weeks and see how the plant looks, maybe you will top it again to get a large bush or pull down the top shoots down.
watch the time-lapse video to get a better idea
So it’s been 5 days since last , here are a couple of the FIM’s that grew back (i think normal) but not 100 sure. Before I thought I cut too low and topped, now it’s looking like they were cut too high? Should I let them grow out longer or re-fim/top? Just looking for suggestions from someone who has more experience . Thanks

Thought I’d post an update, so here is one that was fimmed/topped 12 days or so ago.
New growth shot up from the bottom. Just seeing if this looks normal. Thx
