Top feed water times?

Hey guys,
I've done a few indoor grows quite a few years ago and recently the bug bit to get back into it. I've got a Growlush "System 100" which is essentially a recirculating top feed system with the pots sitting on top of the reservoir.
I know from experience that eventually the roots will make their way out of the clay balls at the top and down into the reservoir, turning it into a DWC, but the pots holding the plants also hold quite a lot of clay balls, so I'm not exactly sure how I should treat the system.
I've just placed my seedlings (AK-47 Feminised) into my system as they're all getting roots growing out of the jiffy. I guess my main question is, what kind of timer setting should the pump be on? It's currently on 15min every 6 hours, but I'm worried that this could be too much, and have the jiffy soaked all the time, but also potentially be too little and have the clay balls drying out between feeds.
I remember I used to run the system 15min every hour, but I also had no idea what I was doing. I assume I'll need to increase the frequency of the feeds as the plants get bigger and go into flower?
The plants are in a 4'x4' grow tent with two Viparspectra P2500 LED grow lights. The top feed system is all DIY but pretty basic, pumping up to a "hydro halo" around each plant. There's also 4 1.5" air stones in the reservoir. Nutes are Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow, currently at about 75ml/100L.

Any help with the nutrient timer would be greatly appreciated, and so would any tips to help get the biggest and best harvest! I've got a 12'x4' tent as well which I'll eventually be using as a flowering tent, using the 4'x4' for veg and taking cuttings as they move to the flower tent.

Thanks in advance!

Seedlings are just tricky. I hate when anyone has questions about seedlings in hydro cause it's just not supposed to happen. Hydro systems are pretty much ALL made for rooted clones. The design on every hydro setup relies on the plant having a decent root system if you think about it.

Yeah that's a good point. I'm going to have 5 plants in this system, and when I switch to flower will take 3 clones off each one. That will give me 15 plants, which I'll clone again until I can pinpoint which one, if any in particular, has the characteristics I'm looking for (potency, yield) and will then be working from clones off it from then on. I've just gotta get this first one from seed because unfortunately you have to start somewhere!

Pics of the setup as it is. Only 4 seedlings in at the moment, the 5th is a bit slow to root out the jiffy but she's coming along.

exactly, I keep seedlings in rapid rooter cubes until they have their first set of true leaves (multibladed) and then they also require that you start feeding. putting them into hydro sooner is begging for problems like damping off, root rot...

Yeah I think that may have been the issue. I waited until they had a good few roots poking out of the jiffy, should have waited til they needed some nutes and maxed out the root ball in the jiffy.
Oh well they're looking good now. A little pale but I just turned the lights up to Max so I'll turn them back down a little

As I tell people.
Once it's got a set or two of full bladed leaves, the roots are blowing out the rooter and ready to explode out and in to the water within a day or two.

I started them in 50/50 perlite/vermiculite cups then brushed most of it away when I transplanted to dwc.

Yes that's a beautiful idea. Absolutely great. Even if some roots have gripped some vermiculite/perlite its not an issue.
Yeah worked great I would put like a half inch of all verm on the top so it was more moist and squishy to start the seed better. Went from 50/50 hempy to dwc then so made sense.
