Too much O2?

I'm brand new to the forum and indoor growing, so forgive the probably noobish question. I searched and searched for this answer, but to no avail.

Is there any amount of oxygen that is TOO MUCH oxygen in water? My grow is in an aerogarden with 7 spots and I added 2 airstones with a dual output air pump for an aquarium. The tank holds about 1 gallon and I have the lamp hood on a timer but I still run the pump that comes with the AG. My water temp is pretty high: ~79F. The surface of the water is entirely bubbles. Anyone see any potential problems?

yes unless your using chlorine your water temps are to hot . those roots will get slimy and rot. you need to cool the water with a chiller or ac unit . keep the water under 75f. so 65 middle point . if you cant cool the water and summer is right around the corner could lose the crop in a week . . you could always plant them into soil . to much o2 would that be impossible ? even with a 100 air stones I would not see that being a problem . this is my opinion . you should look up proper water temps . to under stand .

Thank you for the prompt reply. I have added 2 pci card coolers (rewired them to run off a phone charger) and already have the surface temp of the water down to 74. I can add some kind of intake fan, but i doubt my setup will get much hotter than it currently is. In retrospect, I probably should have covered the top of the AG with foil or something to reflect up some heat and keep the water cooler. Would this make enough difference to bother doing? The AG is black.

Aluminum foil causes heat spots, try to get a roll of mylar and cut it to fit the top properly, its a good idea to reflect the heat back up, just not with aluminum foil,
