Toking to p90X

So I've done p90X before. All 90 days and its amazing to say the least. But now after a few months staying off it and workout other places, I'm gonna start up the 90 days again.

So there's Yoga in the p90X and was wondering if anyone smoked then did yoga. Seeing as it would just relax you further and maybe make it easier, or harder. I dont even know. I'm gonna give it a go, but maybe next week since I have someone over right now, I can't smoke.

Lets here some thoughts. Any smoking before yoga or a workout? And how'd that turn out?

Smoking before a workout will kill me. Ill be to lazy to do shit.
But yoga on the other hand, id imagine itd be pretty nice. I love stretching when im high and feeling the different muscles get that stretched.

Haha. Yeah I haven't tried smoking before actually lift weights cause I dont know how that would turn out. But that's exactly what I mean! Like you can feel everything working and stretching and with the relaxing yoga music or whatever in the background... this'll be interesting

I need to buy a pull up bar and start P90Xing it. I hear it works great. I'm going to do the easier version first (the lady version) and do the normal version after that. It's actually an intense work out from what I hear.

P.S. I love to get ripped while being ripped LOL. Smoking and working out is the best!!!!

yeah p90x is like an insane workout. A buddy of mine deosn't do it but defines it as "if your fat it makes you skinny, and if your skinny, it makes you ripped." But I was gonna do the "lady version" when I first started it but then went for the challenge and did the regular workout. Just do that man, push yourself a little. It'll be hard the first week regardless, but you'll be surprised, amazed and feel great afterwards. Especially with a blunt in your hand :P :joint:

Wow... smoking before yoga is definitely the way to go.. maybe that's how they did it originally when they invented yoga

I did the P90x all the way through as well. IMO the yoga was the hardest damn workout! I didnt sweat nearly that bad with any of the others including abs. Good luck and more power to you if that works out.

Yeah yoga surprised me when I first did it. Easily the hardest but most useful.


so that P90x shit works? what were your results?
Oh my god yeah does it work. It's insane but man does it work. My dad and I started it together then he got sidetracked and I kept it up and the results were amazing.

I mean I have progress pictures if thats what you wanted. Nothing from before we started. Idk where they went to but I have like 3 weeks in and like 2 weeks before I finished completely

By the way. I got a pullup bar at dicks for like $20 or so and its awesome but if your on the go, buy a resistance band off the site. I bought a 50lbs resistance band for my dorm room and it's perfect

the rule is you always smoke after a workout
you put to much stress on the body before hand
plus you can use the weed to help relax the mussle so that they can repair themselves +++

RIU? And yeah maybe. I never really did a complete thorough journal to track everything. Aside from pictures every 3 weeks

I don't want to fuck up my doors. I'm going to buy a really nice heavy duty one. I like nice workout equipment. They're only like 170 bucks for a really nice one with supports. I need to buy my school text books first though.

Yeah I feel you on that.. damn books costing too much. The pull up bar surprisingly doesn't do anything to the door but a legit pull up bar is always better

I'm a bit too strong for most resistance bands. Most of the ones I found in the store were for ladies. I'd also like a pull up bar because you can do more exercises with it (at least the one I want).

Yeah I had the same problem. Broke 2 bands before I went to the site. But the resistance bands from beach body are solid. Like the way the handle system is set up, it wont break, and the 50lb resistance band is surprisingly more than enough. But other than curl with the band and like shoulder press, yeah, the pull up bar is a lot better for.. well obviously pull ups
