To you current LED growers (is this light suitable?)

Alright, I'm going to be buying 1 of these LED lights to try, and will purchase more if they are good enough. I know there's tons of ones out there, so I've done some research on them, and I have come up with this one Viparspectra P1000, equivalent to 250W HPS. Seeing as I'm new to the LED world, I'd ask anyone used it?
Any further suggestions of information would be greatly appreciated!

Don't ever work with, consider or quote 'equivalent watts.' it's a misleading marketing term Look at actual wattage and actual output.

That said, you're best off telling people what size growing environment you're shopping for. The size of the space will dictate what the best fit is.
This is 100% correct. there is no comparing eq watts

The ”double sized” version of that light - the Spider Farmer SF-2000 and Viparspectra XS2000 are both on sale on Amazon right now for like $ 229. The Viparspectra has a slightly better PPFD spread than the Spider Farmer. I have 2 of the spider farmer sf2000 and 2 of the smaller sf1000. They work great but they don’t cover a large footprint. Expect to effectively cover about 2’x2’ for veg, and about 1.5’ x1.5’ for strong flowering, for each “1000” panel. You can always start with one and add more as you go - they “daisy chain” together. I’m happy enough with my results for the price, but there’s better out there. I use the equivalent of one panel per plant, and it’s not hard to pull 6 oz per plant with some training, more with the right genetics. The SF2000 covers 2 plants for me, if they’re well trained. Take advantage of your reflective walls, and start in the corner. Everyone is pushing the bar style lights right now, and they’re awesome, but they cost twice as much to start. I like to be able to start with one panel, and as they outgrow the space, just fire up another one. It also keeps the use-hours lower by using one or 2 smaller lights, instead of running a huge expensive light and dimming it. Cost and efficiency are big factors for us as we are just growing for personal medicine, and not cash cropping.

I have grown excellent bud with mars hydro…TS 600, TS 1000 and fc-e 4800. Photo tent has fc-e currently running HSO Passionfruit punch. Replaced my other lights in auto tent for HLG 600rspec. Mars hydro is a good product but buy a little bigger than your footprint. TS 600 did good in 2x2, ts1000 did better. Like others said, match your area and never look at equivalent power. If you scroll down to descriptions of light you’ll find actual watts for most… if it’s not listed then find another that lists actual wattage.
