To lollipop or not to lollipop that is the question

Hello all I will be 4 weeks into flower on Saturday. Due to lack of time I have 10 plants in RDWC that have not been touched, nothing done, different strains all look in good health.

Looking underneath it is a tangled mass. Is it to late to lollipop? if it isnt should I do it all in one go removing branches and leaves.

Don't want to shock them, I did loli[op late once before and ended up with airy buds but it could easily have been something else that caused it as I have only been growing 2 years.
Many thanks

After 4 weeks, you should still be OK. I have trimmed well into Week 5 and had no ill effects on the girls. If there is a lot of a tangled mess below, you can clip that junk off over a couple of days to help reduce any stress to the plants. Any large leaves or small branches that are not going to receive any decent usable light can be snipped off.

Lollipopping shouldn't be the cause of fluffy buds. Too low light intensity, too high heat or poor air flow are some of the usual suspects when it comes to fluffy buds.

Hello!

No, it is never too late to lollipop. However, if the buds are already forming, I would suggest to remove fewer branches than what you normally do whenever you lollipop. (Only the ones at the very bottom).

What strain are you growing?

On some crazy Sativa you can perform a normal lollipopping even at week 8 so it really depends on the variety.

Cheers,

Many thanks. I have a right old mix some Bruce Banner/Dr Krippling Bulk/Barneys Blue Gelato.

Clone the cuttings. They take longer to root in flower but once rooted and vegged they'll produce like nothing you have seen before.

Is this monster cropping? and would you flower the clones or use as mothers?
I've done both but honestly I am just going to veg and flower them from now on. For space reasons in my case. Yes it's monstercropping and it's the only way I clone for bud anymore.

Edit: take the cuttings now. Even if you just put them in water while you prep for them. Pinch off any formed buds. Obviously veg light cycle. Be patient waiting for roots and growth. But once they reveg they'll amaze you.

Flowering clones can take up to 8 weeks to root - my attempt took 61 days. When that reveg begins, you will see single finger leaves coming in at first. That's normal. Soon regular growth will appear and as Hot Rod said, you'll get branches up the wazoo - an LST'ers dream!
