TMB's Yosemite Area 2010 Outdoor Grow

Thanks to all who commented here. I was gone the last 2 days at Pebble Beach to watch practice rounds for the U.S. Open Golf tournament....BEAUTIFUL! That place is unreal, me and my son had a great time....worn out, lots of partying with old friends, miles of walking, and VERY little sleep. I can sleep when I die.....lol
Check out these photos of Tiger and others.

It's been awhile since I've updated with photos, VERY BUSY SUMMER. 2 camping trips, 2 trips to Vegas, the U.S. Open, so here we go,,,
The Purps, Bubba Kush, and one of the Strawberry Cough X Deep Chunk went into flower as they went into the garden. The Purps are re-vegging, Bubba doesn't know what to do and the weirdest is my Strawberry Cough x Deep Chunk, clones taken same day, same plant, planted the same day side by side in the garden and one is 7' and the other is 3'.....mystery to me.
The SR-71 Purple Kush would be about 9'-10' tall if not SCROGGED. Chemo Cindy just under that at 8'-9' tall. They are SCROGGED and going nuts. Chemo Cindy is 7' wide and loving life since the SCROG. The Mind Bender X Afghangooey is part of the SCROG too. They are late bloomers and have at the least another 3-4 weeks of veg time.

All kinds of fish parts in those buckets, who knows, I'm sure there was both. There was a lot of Halibut too, I know that was wild.

Hey jj
Thanks for checking in.
I learned from you....SCROG early. I'm too fat and old to be up on a ladder messing with the girls. I like working at 5' better then 12' .Try'n to keep them under the cage top so if we get an early storm like last year i can cover up with 4ml plastic. Don't want any bud rot from moisture.

Ok, today the girls got their first dose of "Safer Caterpillar" spray. Mixed 3 gallons up and gave them a shower from head to toe. They all seem to be stretching so they get their first bloom tea on Wednesday. Earthworm Castings, FF Peace of Mind, FF Bat Guano 0-5-0, Molasses, Compost from the bin, Alaskan Fish Emulsion 0-10-0, Epsom salt, and some dried Kelp. I will add some Hay in the morning and let brew another 24 hours before I feed.
Photo update soon.

P.S.
I'm off to Benton Hot Springs on the East side of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range (far far away from the city lights) to watch the Meteor Showers Wed and Thurs nights, should be quite the show.

Treeman, cover that cage with sunscreen mesh & you won't have to spray for caterpillars again

Peace

whats epsom do ?

Hey jj-
That would be the ticket, but I'm a poor man and that sun screen ain't cheep. I sprayed last year and had no issues. I spray them 3-4 times with 3-4 days in between. So the job is done in 10-14 days from now.

i like the cage bro, makes you feel like your girls are safe from sticky fingered transients

I had a causality in the weed cage this week, A fucken gopher found its way into my weed cage and killed one of my Mind Bender X Afghangooey. That plant produced over a pound last year and will hurt my final production number this year.
I went to the automotive store a bought a couple of road flares and stuck them into the hole under the plant first thing this morning. God I hope the other girls will be O.K. this can sure fuck-up a great grow. I never seen any sign of the gopher before or after the damage was done. I pulled the plant up just a bit and could see that the roots were gone. I dug into the soil a bit and found the holes they dug to get to my girl. I inserted a live road flare into the hole and covered back up. Let hope that helps/kills that bastard..........fuck!
