i think its a photocatalyst, meaning in the presence of UV it will catalyze reactions between organic particles and oxygen, meaning the smell literally burns off. it sounds like it could work.

I have not used these bulbs.. BUT i have heard repeatedly that they work... which i find hard to believe... cause we all know that the stank is pretty stanky...

I own one, but my grow hasn't progressed to the point where I really need it yet. It's more for insurance than anything else since im working out of a cabinet with a carbon filter.

Annother guy was running a thread looking for cheap odor control and I suggested the ozone lites to him. I just don't have any first-hand experience with them yet.
