+1 to the grinder; ill have to try the hair method though

wash hands with dish soap and COLD waterany of you have a problem with your fingers being so stick that your fingers keep getting stuck to the papers making it difficult to roll? here's a tip i've been using for a couple years now that a friend told me about. after you break up the weed, just brush your hands through your hair a couple times like your trying to get sand out of your hair and there you go, no more sticky fingers.
warning : this does not work so well while your trimming. lol
AND - you get scissor hash!Use scissors when breaking up bud, you don't waste so many trichomes.
Just keep some isopropyl alcohol nearby. I use that and a paper towel to clean my scissors.
the alcohol will break down the resin and evaporate pretty quick.
the other day I was trimming some big branches and my fingers had so much resin on them i literally took a lighter and could burn the resin on my fingers and smoke it![]()
The Vegetable oil is what I use when trimming. Just rub it around real good and dish soap it off. Scissors as well, AFTER I scrape 'em really well with a razor blade. The Coconut oil sounds like it would work well also. I gotta try that.does that work with trimming?cuz everytime i trim, when im out of gloves, i cant get the stickiness to go away no matter how long i wash my hands. lol
I rub my hands and fingers together to "roll" up the hash on them, then scrape the scissors with a single edged razor to clean them before I wash 'em.Just keep some isopropyl alcohol nearby. I use that and a paper towel to clean my scissors.

We appear to disagree. I've always found fresh resin to be enthusiastically soluble in acetone. cnmaybe the tar (that some of you call resin) left in a pipe after smokeing, but fresh resin off a plant, no way.
I am splitting hairs here, but acetone, while a fairly polar solvent, is less so than the shorter alcohols, like methanol, ethanol, the propanols. Alcohols are quite polar.alcohol is a non-polar solvent, acetone is a polar solvent.
I have high quality anhydrous acetone, it still leaves my hands sticky, alcohol just melts the crap out of it.
