Tiny lice?

first off, all of my mini plants are in pots on the window sill. the leaves are turning yellow and falling off, bottom leaves first, then all over the plants. i had problems with fungus gnats this summer and have seen some on the soil lately. today i looked under the plants and there are tiny lice running around and pretty fast. what are these things, anyone? give me the creeps... are either bugs making the leaves turn yellow? j

Sounds like Spider mites!

Are they on the leaves? Check the underside of them as well for eggs! Sucks

Google hypoaspis miles. You had fungus gnats, these things eat fungus gnat larvae, and are actually beneficial.

Relax. If the fan leaves are yellowing from bottom up it could be low nitrogen (good/normal during last half of flowering.

Inspect leaf. If whole leaf evenly yellow? No brown freckles? No bugs / webs on underside of leaf? Then its likely not mites and just soil depleted on nitrogen and gnats.
